Dime-novel writer named Monzo Kobayashi is returning home from a performance by opera singer Ranko Mizuki when he sees a menacing dwarf carrying a woman’s severed arm. Sometime later, he has a conversation with Detective Kogoro Akechi and finds out he’s currently investigating Ranko Mizuki’s recent disappearance. A series of bizarre twists follow as Akechi and Kobayashi attempt to unravel the mystery of severed limbs and a sadistic killer dwarf. Edit Translation
