One of the best melodrama I've ever seen and also one of the best dramas period. To be honest when I first started watching it, I dropped it at the first episode because it bored me, but then I tried it again after reading the reviews and right then and there I was hooked. I pretty much finished in 2 days and didnt even skip a second of it. Everything about this read more drama is perfect, from the cast to the acting, to the story, the romance and the chemistry between the leads were incredible Hwang jung eum's acting was on a different level. I actually cried every time she cried. (lots of crying in this one) That was how convincing she was. Ji sung was amazing too but I feel like his talent is showing more on KMHM. In the end of it all, this drama broke me into little tiny pieces but I will never regret watching it and re-watching it over and over again.

Oh my this ONE abused the sht out of my heart!

The acting was amazing. There was so much crying, but each one never lost its value.

It was a btch to get through since most the story was so sad, but I suggest you don't watch it in such a narrow minded view. Put yourself in each characters point of view and try to understand each one because for me that's read more what made it bearable.

I finished the series in 2 days because I felt so bad for KYJ and I was just eagerly just waiting for her to do her quirky adorable laugh. I really hate sad dramas, but I got a much greater "feel good moment" effect from the little bits and pieces of happiness in this drama then a drama dedicated completely for "feel good moments".

I fell in love with the main couple. Look at my list I usually drop as soon as the main couple gets together but on this one I kept going because I actually wanted them to get closer and closer. To me their love was believable and on episode 15 their was a moment I even cried out of jealously because it is the kind of pure love I truly want.( you will understand when you get there)

What I also liked about this was the deaths weren't just some random conveniently timed events. Each one had a purpose and were connected. We didn't the moments where a character finds something out, and right then they die that usually happens from a out of the blue car accident.. Like that sht makes me go CRAZY!

Re watch value of me was low because I don't think my heart can handle it lol.

Both female leads are blamed for the death of the male lead's girlfriend. But in Secret, the female lead doesn't really killed the girlfriend of the male lead, she just took the responsibility for what her fiancee did. Also, both aggressive male leads.

the main characters are the same and you will still get the same excitement as you did watching Secret.

Glad I am not the only one. KMHM was funny and I enjoyed it but I thought it was soo all over the place and Secret just had me from the first episode. I was so sucked in into the plot and their acting I finished it literally in one sitting.

Watched this right after KMHM because I couldn't get enough of the main leads. Their chemistry is amazing. Ji Sung is also one of my favourite actors ever. He is just one of the most impeccable actors in my opinion and he delivers his characters just flawlessly. Such an asset to the acting industry.

Couldn't get passed the first 2 episodes so predictable and the so many setups off rip like I'm willing to bet anything that the prosecutor and the woman who is gonna be his "wife" are gonna fall in love or something like that.
Edit: came back to this months later and still can't get past the first 2 eps lol

This drama was soo good! How come I haven't watched it before?!! The chemistry between Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum is really amazing here. I loved them in the drama Kill Me Heal Me but here... they are astonishing.

it was a good and realistic drama, but the twist (when he got feelings for her) was a little too fast and unexpected. But still a good drama :)

Can someone please tell me, (I haven't even started this yet because it scares me) how bad is the main guy abusing the female lead, and for how long? I've been told that this is pretty intense, I'd like to see it for the actors, but the plot scares me, a lot. o.O

He isn't abusing her (he's not violent) but her struggle (because of him) last for around 5 episodes (I've watched a long time ago) and it IS pretty intense...If you only watch it for the actors and can't stand melodrama, don't start it... If you can, it's a masterpiece :)

I adore melodrama, I'm just scared to see a male lead abuse the female lead - I can take violence too, but seeing a character that's supposed to be a love-interest continuously hurt the other character gives me the creeps. xD So, if the most horrible part (for my emotions lol) lasts about about 5 episodes... I think I can do that. :D Thanks for replying. :)

This is (mainly) not a feel-good romance, so it's not for everyone. I personally really liked the first half of the drama, but I would of loved to see some more character development for the main female character. I couldn't stand the fact that she's so continuously accepting of the way they treat her. For me it's a 6.5/10. You should still give it a try. Good cast with great acting and a decent overall plot.

I marathoned this drama. I should watch melodrama more often - they're fun! I think the main lead actors are not only talented (first time watching Ji Sung) but they had great chemistry too. However as many have said, the roughness rubbed me the wrong way...Also, why is it that cheating is easily accepted if it follows the main ship? Overall, I enjoyed this drama. :) Kill Me Heal Me is on my list.
