The female leads are beautiful and have nearly the same personalities. Both male leads head over heels the female leads. In both dramas, the male leads become kings.

and are the key to fulfill a prophecy

should I clarify that the men here are of a breathtaking beauty ???????

LVS is much more lighter and funnier but I am pretty sure you will love both dramas. They both share the fact that the FL is loved by leaders or officials of different sects or regions and in both the FL is also a very smart person.

I'm surprised no one made this recommendation yet. In one sentence, Prince of Lan Ling is the same story as Princess of Lanling King, both on Lan Ling Wang.

- FL has amnesia and hidden identity;

- power struggle

- FL loved somebody else before;
- ML went through struggles before becoming the emperor;
- ML only loves FL even though he marries other women because of his status

I've been jumping around (skipping scenes in) Princess Agents a lot so sorry if this is completely a completely off recommendation..
but some of the character personalities are very similar.

XE is like QingSuo- others controlling their life, losing memory of their past, stuck in love triangle, stuck with someone who they kinda hate but end up loving

Yu WenYue similar to Yu WenYong (yeah even their names are similar)- royalty, cold on the outside and warm on the inside, always mistaken by their love

both have a smart female lead.
both male lead hide his true personality behind a carefree facade.
