Boku no Ita Jikan Episode 1 Reactions
This plot is amazing! I love illness theme dramas & movies. Because it shows a different sides of people who usually do romantic comedies, or school dramas or youth dramas. I hope that it gets better(I think it will).
I was crying a lot in this episode. Even the light-hearted made me cry too!

But honestly, this drama starts with a quite good first episode.
I like the fact that the main character already has issues BEFORE the disease kicks in. Also, he's not the perfect, shiny character who's going to be the bravest victime of all time I can feel it. So that's also nice.
I like his relationship with Megumi, those two really have something going on.
I also like the fact that his family doesn't seem perfect (his parents actually forced him to take his little brother under his own roof, as if it was the natural thing to do).
However, I don't like the fact that his family is already focused on everything medical (father owns a hospital, brother in med school, his own childhoon dream was to be a doctor). That's too convenient.
And I don't like the falling in slow motion with the violins playing in the background. We know this is a Disease Drama, and we need no reminder of it.
So, overall, a nice start. I'll keep watching. ^^

I watched all the way through and I must say I almost stopped after the intro because I hate when someone spoils the end for me. When I saw the "Accident" i was immediately turned off. However, i understand that when they do this it is the journey to that point that matters. Man this was a journey if ever there was one about his battle to actually overcome or "live." If you are into tear jerkers this is the one for you...i don't like crying but everything seems to make me cry whether in joy and happiness or despair and loneliness. The best part is the bonds between each member. I would give it till episode 7/8 then if you get bored skip to the last one...the others dragged on a bit but there is a good reason. I think the main character did a great job of playing mixed emotions on numerous occasions. in the end it is a great story and it made me even do a bit more research on the topic/disease itself.
