I can confidently say that God's Gift - 14 Days is going to be ONE OF THE BEST K-dramas of 2014!! I can already see many awards coming its way at the end of the year!!

The story line is just amazing. From episode 1, I was captivated by the plot, making me sit at the edge of my chair, anticipating of what would happen next. Just when I thought I figured read more out who is behind it all, something unexpected happened and I was left at a dead end with numerous questions. Even until the very last minute of the final episode I was left awestruck. It took me a few minutes to register what happened and then everything clicked into place. Usually I am pretty good at figuring out who is bad and who is good, but this drama totally made me run around in circles.

The cast was also amazing. I have no words to describe how well everyone played their parts. Lee Bo Young played the mother soo well. The determination she showed to save her child no matter what, it felt real. She is clearly a great actress. And what can I say about Cho Seung Woo, he was just amazing!! The action scenes he did was just top notch!! Seriously can i have him protect me too? haha But in all seriousness, he did a great job!

Of course I need to mention, Kim Yoo Bin, this little 9 year old girl did such a great job. If she can act like this at such a young age, imagine where she will be in 10 years time! Oh and how can I forget Baro (of B1A4). The amount of times he made me awestruck in this drama, the way he played a mentally disabled boy, left me speechless. It is hard to believe that this was only his 2nd drama. I can say with confidence that he is going to be an amazing actor. Cannot wait to see his future works!! (Special mention goes to No Min Woo, though his part was small, every time I saw him on screen i fangirled like mad. He is just too hot x__x)

The rewatch value is also very high. There is not a single boring moment in this drama. Nothing dragged on for too long and in every episode something new came up, which helped to unfold the story and create more mystery. I would definitely watch it again if i have time.

Finally I would say, hats off to the team for creating such an amazing drama. I know many didn't like the ending and others loved it. I for one, think the ending was bittersweet. It was not overly happy, but it was also not tear jerking. Seriously if you haven't watched this drama, then please do, I promise, you will enjoy it.

This drama will make you sitting on the edge of your sit at every damn scene! I mean it! Every scene is so intense that you will be so nervous and excited. Also, I've discovered this awesome man, actor, singer... CHO SEUNG WOO! Without him a drama wouldn't be the same!
Why you should watch this:
- if you're looking for a drama where you'll have no clue what's gonna happen next read more and be super excited for every scene.
- if you're looking for a great(AWESOME) storyline with a lot of twists.
-if you want to have mixed feelings and can't wait to know what will happen next.
- if you're looking for a great music that makes that scene even more excited and nervous.
- if you're looking for a skillfull and professional directing and writing.
- if you're looking for a high skill acting and awesome chemistry between the cast and where every character is reasonable in his/her doings.
And if you're looking for a drama when you'll rewatch it and get the same excited feeling like the first time when you watched it.

Both have parents worried about their daughters and frantically trying to save them - both include some strange elements. Both are suspense thrillers.

This drama has the best characters ever! Smart and fierce Kim Soo Hyun who'll stop at nothing to protect her daughter, the lady was kicking ass and taking names. I need more dramas with heroines like that. Then there's the male lead, tough guy/smartass with a heart of gold Ki Dong Chan (even though there's no romance here, I could see hearts shooting from his eyes in certain someone's direction *wink*). Little Han Saet Byul, ("Saet Byul-ah!" is now stuck in my head forever lol) is not only adorable but brave just like her mom. The entire cast did an amazing job. I rooted for the good guys, hated the bad guys and even ended up feeling sorry for some of them. That's the beauty of complex characters, I guess.

I didn't give it a perfect 10 because two things bothered me. First, overly complicated story. There is such a thing as too much twists and turns. More than once I was left wondering wtf is going on, but everything falls into place eventually. Second, bad sound editing in fight scenes. I mean, you had one job, sound editor person, and that was not to add a thump sound 5 mins AFTER someone throws a punch (Ok, I'm overreacting a bit). I tried to ignore it, but it was distracting and took away from otherwise great action scenes.
Still, this is the best drama I've seen to date and I even liked the ending. I tried watching American remake (it's called "Somewhere Between") and guess what? It's terrible and makes me appreciate this even more

I loved it. It was good though the ending is @#@#f@@k.
I loved it more than the drama The Defendant.

The male lead guy stole the show, what a great performance by him. I am his fan fro now on. Ki Dong Chan is a guy I wanna have in my life!!!

Starts out amazing...one of the best first episodes I've seen in a long time, and gets better for a few episodes. The acting was great, characters fascinating, the cinematography superb, and the writing tight and clever. The MCs start out awesome and everything is compelling and emotive...and then, it starts to go downhill. It's like the writers suddenly had no idea how to move the story forward without making Lee Bo Young's character and her daughter do every imaginable stupid thing you would never even think of so as to artificially keep the danger present, conflict apparent, and mystery unsolved. Not to mention keep her in hysterics for two weeks to the point that it's not believable or sympathetic like the beginning. Only the male lead (played by Jo Seung Woo, who is awesome as usual) is smart and interesting, and all LBY's great points go down the drain.

The change is so contrasting that if I had told myself this at the beginning, I wouldn't have believed myself--I actually kept thinking "What are those negative comment ppl talking about, this is so smartly written and she's ever so cool a character!" I thought the worst it could get would to just be typical thriller-unrealistic, which I can totally live with if the story's great, and I was sure there was no way it could go downhill. The beginning of the story is *that* good, and the rest is that frustrating. But VERY addictive, and I'm beginning to realize that addictive+annoying is not a pleasant combo. Also so sad was that the excellent use of the time travel device was set up to be quite easy to keep consistent, and while I usually don't judge timeslip discrepancies too harshly b/c I know how tough it is to work with, there was no reason for some of the discrepancies to have been in the second timeline. The writer had set up a great way to deal with changes, but then quickly seemed to forget about dealing with half of them. It felt more frustrating b/c it's like it violate its own system.

As for the end (no spoliers), I know so many people hated it due to the confusing implications, but still rated the whole drama highly...I thought it was clearly a happy ending (as a few commenters have explained well enough), but what I thought was so lame was that there was ZERO reason to make it ambiguous by cutting out certain super short shots (a couple shown in director's cut ending) and not filming others in a clear way. There was no reasonable reason to try to appear clever by tricking viewers, because even those who could see that it was a fitting ending got cheated...b/c there was no emotional impact to it when there so easily could have been lots, making the ending satisfying. Ugh. Anyway, if you decide to watch this, be sure to look at spoiler comments when finished to make sure you understand the end, because that's at least better than feeling completely betrayed, which isn't necessary.

One of the best dramas in 2014, and one of my favorites... the story was refreshing and exciting and full of twits... everything from the story, the characters, the actors and plot development was amazing... for me the ending makes it more memorable...

Please ignore the negative posts here. If you like thrillers/action/melodramas with lots of LOTS of twists: Watch! Just don't watch it if you're busy with school/work, cuz once you start watching this drama, you won't be able to stop. I also don't understand the complaints about the ending? It's a perfect happy ending. Oh wait MDL has a lot of members who are into romantic dramas so a drama without a wedding or long kissing scene at the end means it's a sad ending and we all wasted 16 hours watching this drama. Anyway fantastic drama! Highly recommended.

I'm one of those who disliked this drama very much right after ep.4 everything went down the hill for me. My disappointment has NOTHING to do with the ending because I was irritated way before that. Also "romance" is the last thing I look at or care about rom-com are my least favourites LOL but I agree with this "MDL has a lot of members who are into romantic dramas". As for me, I have many issues with this drama "plot-wise" so it'd be nice if you don't assume everyone hates this drama for the reasons you've mentioned. I saw flaws and irritating stupid things in the plot that annoyed me like hell and I just couldn't overlook them.
Oh and on second thought Wanted is another thrilling drama that's airing right now and I was really worried it would be another God's Gift huge disappointment since the plot does sound somewhat similar but so far it's nowhere near it!! It's doing a hell of a job in the "suspense" and "thrill" part. If you haven't picked it up yet I suggest you do :)

So agree. Seriously over rated drama. Stupid ending, but the irritants throughout the second half of the drama were overwhelming. I just loved it starting out, but it completely fell apart as the episodes went on...and that ending!

There's too many red herrings. Everything is so convoluted... I think the writers went overboard with the conspiracy theories on this one.

Haven't forgotten this drama since. It was exciting and I'll rewatch it again someday. Oh, not to mention, "Saet Byul-ah!" has been ingrained in my brain :D.
