That drama has nothing much original, and does a lot of things wrong, but does 2 things SO RIGHT it makes up for everything else.

First, our 2 main leads stay in line character throughout the drama. Their character grow, but in a more subtle way which is what I love most about them. Their coming back together is convincing because we get see little by little what made them separate in read more the first place, and we see how each one of them resolve the issues they had, and how it brings them back, only to be there for each other, and for no other reason. It feels organic and you're with them all the way, and they stay true to their character that you have come to love. In the end, you feel that it's a healthy relationship where both are equal and working together to make it work this time

Second, the comedy stays throughout the drama, up until the last episode. Each episode has a few funny scenes involving our male lead who can be adorably petty. He might be petty, but it was never done in a dramatic or serious way, but mostly in a comedic way. It's actually amazing for a korean drama since most rom-com turn melo half way through which annoys me in a way that I'm like "I didn't sign up for this". So basically this drama gives you what it promises in that sense.

If you are looking to watch a drama for those 2 reasons, then I'd recommend it. Its totally for you!

IF you are looking for a story about how a man turned millionaire overnight, or about details on smart business decisions, if you are looking for interesting 2nd leads that don't turn cliché and show growth and dignity, if you are looking for camaraderie or even bromance, well you won't be finding any of those things here. The bromance was sorta a let down but that wasn't the focus of the story ;)

Overall I really enjoyed the drama for the 2 reasons mentioned above even when everything else went crazy at one point (those are what FFW button is made for :P).

When I started this drama, I was kind of prepared to hate the plot and leading lady. I mean, come on, the synopsis basically describes a gold digger taking a second shot at her husband after she finds out about his new success. But in the end I loved the drama! It was cute and an easy-watch. I wouldn't say it was extremely addictive, but it didn't drag much either. So it read more was one of those average feel-good dramas with a happy ending.

I loved Lee Min Jung here. And Joo Sang Wook, who I've only watched in Good Doctor and his role there was too different. L had a small supporting role but it was pretty cute too. In fact, this drama was overflowing with cute guys. And I'm nowhere near complaining. lol. The second leads here were extremely bearable. I mean, yeah, there was a point towards the end where I wanted to punch both of them for a moment. But it was flickering. And relatively they pretty good second leads. Not good enough to have second syndromes but good enough to develop a slight liking for them. The second lead girl especially was not a cold hearted bitch. I mean, she was shy and a bit gloomy because of her disability and her past. But she was nevertheless likeable.

The ending episode was super-sweet, with every character a bit of their own happy ending. Overall I would say while this drama is not something that would make you go, "wow best drama eveer" but at the same time you won't regret watching it and definitely won't throw popcorn at your screen. lol.

Both dramas have hilarious and immature CEOs with a trustworthy and friend-like secretaries. Plot-wise, they are very different but both dramas are ridiculously hilarious and sweet.

It's about married couple who broke up and then fall in love with each other again. Also the main lead is a dork weirdo yet so loveable and charming. You'll love this!

This drama was packed with cliché but I managed to like it lol.
Cha Jung Woo was very funny and adorable and Ae Ra was a bit too much for my taste but it's the way Lee Min Jung plays so whatchu gonna do? lol

Joo Sang Wook was adorkable in this! He really made this drama for me and shines as Cha Jung Woo. (Plastic Flower! LOL) Cute cute cute drama! Didn't care for the 2nd lead guy - I thought he was too girly looking, especially next to JSW.

So funny that the "Plastic Flower" line stands out for you as much as it does for me. Totally the most memorable moment of the show and very well done.

The only thing I liked about this drama was the male lead...He's super manly and handsome!!! Story doesn't make sense, and it was boring and dragging, I found myself pressing the fast forward button during the entire drama.

He had sister complex all thru the series doubt he really understood if he loved ae ra or just wanted to manipulate hdr for his sisters sake. And i hate when a character gets rejected and he still tries foe hugs and skinship because thats awkward omg

I'll agree with both of you on the second lead. I didn't find him appealing at all. He was no match for Cha Jung Woo! (whose name I just love to say like Ae Ra does. LOL) I have no idea how anyone could get SLS over him.

I agree with your assessment of SH. He was always a spoiled brat. He didn't set out to help Ae Ra even in the beginning. He thought she was the quickest way for him to get fired so he wouldn't have to work. But I never liked him from the beginning - I never saw him as a legitimate rival for CJW. She was a distraction for SH, but as soon as she rejected him he turned on her.

So... I've watched 14 episodes so far and I have to ask: why is the second male lead so popular in this show? The guy's a self-obsessed little twerp.

I agree with you! I have NO IDEA what his appeal was. I read the recaps of this drama on Dramabeans when I watched it, and the commenters there just LOVED him.

Seriously, way too many comments here going "Second Lead Syndrome looool!" and me just being so annoyed. :P

Honestly, I think he's popular because a) omgsocute, and b) he makes Ae Ra laugh a lot, early on. And considering her considerable suffering, it felt good to see her laugh.

But you'd think that the people who like the guy would stop liking him after he TRIES TO TORPEDO HER LIFE just because she wasn't interested in him. That's the lowest of the low, really. Bordering on psychotic.

Totally agree! I thought he was girly looking (with those red lips) and way too young for her anyway. He had no idea what she'd been through in her life. She was leaps and bounds beyond him. I gagged listening to commenters call him "my puppy". BLECH!

Probably my favourite couple. I just love their relationship and interactions with each other! I have yet to get tired of watching their scenes over and over again. Makes me full so mushy inside
