SMH!

The meet/cute was terrible due to the awful writing and typecasting of Aaron Yan as CEO blah, blah, blah and Tia Li the next damsel in distress who needs rescuing.

Decent

I really dislike the way Taiwanese dramas are edited. The episode was soooo long too, but it was a pretty decent first episode. Not the best I have watched, but I've certainly watched worse. A lot worse. The plot is not very original, but maybe it will be bearable. And like a member mentioned before, I like that just because he put on different clothes and a pair of glasses didn't make him instantly an unrecognizable person. I have issues with Superman/Clark Kent because of that too. *shrugs*

Anyways, Aaron is hawt and that's why I started the drama, let's see if it gives me more reasons to stay and finish it! I also think Aaron might just be the better actor among the Fahrenheit guys.

Has Potential!

This was a pretty good episode, I’m glad that the writers didn’t play it off as “Oh! Look, our character is in different clothes no one recognizes him lalala”, but we’ll shall see how the next few episodes pan out. I’m a little annoyed that they couldn’t get different child actors that: 1. look like their older versions and 2. could act better. Sigh. Other than that though I didn’t have very many issues with this episode (or drama so far!). The plot’s not groundbreaking, but we already knew that from the get go.

I don’t really have much to critique Tia Li on yet – she hasn’t shown herself to be a horrible actress, but hasn’t really been good either. Time will tell I guess! (NOTE: I haven’t seen her in anything before!). Aaron plays the two personalities well, though hopefully he will develop them more!

So far So good

Let's just get the obvious out of the way first... Aaron Yan is freaking HOT!!!
Phew! I feel better now. When not gazing at Aaron I found this episode to be pretty good. It gave us some needed background, a smidgen of blossoming romance and the classic "pretend to be someone you aren't" plot lines. I will definitely be waiting for the is odes to be subbed each week.
Great start!!
