Time Shift

This episode messed me up with that sudden time skip, like a whole year in a couple of seconds? Wow, I'm pretty not in line with this pacing man.

They made it work

So this episode brings us to Naoki being in Kobe working whie Kotoko stays in Kobe to study, it sucks because they're married and would obviously like to be together but lots of young couples have done it and they make it work.

Now, I like that Naoki, even in his aloofness, shows his affection to Kotoko a bit more. I know this is his personality and Kotoko fell for him like this BUT if he spoke a little more about what he feels they would grow stronger.

I like Kotoko, I really do, but sometimes that attitude of hers that Naoki is hers forever and no one should be near him, like couldn't she promise a harmless little date with Naoki and the little girl? it's not like they can marry :P why promise marrying her to Yuki? hahaha

I have to say I loved the small moments where Naoki allowed himself to show his feelings, like when they were together in his apartment, he was happy to see her. And when he went to see her off and told her she absolutely needs to pass the exam, because he couldn't bare more time without her. I just wish he could put it into words at least one time....Kotoko would feel reassured and stop doubting so much.

I don't know, I'm entertained and I still think this is one (if not THE) of the best versions of this story.
