Sakaki Makio, also known as "Tornado" is a tough 27-year-old high school drop-out. By academic standards, he's pretty dumb. His father decides to force Makio to return to high school to receive his diploma and he asks an old friend who happens to be the principal of a nearby school to admit Makio. If Makio doesn't graduate, the position of boss will be given to his younger brother, Mikio.

Furthermore, he must read morepose as a 17-year-old during school hours and in the presence of any classmates or teachers outside of school. If his cover is blown, it would be the end of his high school career as well as his hopes to become boss. Things start out rough and tough as Makio's violent temper is tested. As the lessons and days go by he learns there is much more to school than just tests and studying.

I can't give this drama anything but a 10/10 because for its style it was perfect. It was almost exactly what I was expecting.

Whoever is in need of a light comedy should watch this. Expect many hilarious moments. Nagase Tomoya is very expressive, you'll most likely burst into laughter at the mere sight of him. However, expect some depth too. They handle serious matters as well: redefining one's life, learning about read more true love and friendship, surpassing one's limits. These are all expressed very well and they transition smoothly into and out of the humour. You'll find some very touching moments too, but that's definitely not the defining theme of the drama. It's almost entirely comical. And despite basing itself on serious matters, it manages to stay light enough to be enjoyable as pure comedy.

Acting: I was quite surprised actually. Given the obscurity of this drama I thought they would probably have a bunch of mediocre actors, but these kids are brilliant! They exceeded my expectations. Almost all of them anyway.

Music: It was SPLENDID. I fell in love with the ending theme from the very first second. And the music throughout the show is also very entertaining; it goes well with each scene and just lifts your spirits. For a pretty underrated drama, the music was exquisite. Too good to ignore. It wasn't just a soundtrack, it was a lot more powerful. In some scenes my attention was actually stolen by the music than the action.

This is the funniest dorama ever. Nagase Tomoya is hilarious, and the plot is cute and funny, and his facial-expressions are out-of-this-world. I laughed so much while watching this, and I've watched it 3 times already. It's not serious, but quite light, and the beginning song (Sorafune by TOKIO) is lovely as well, and sticks in your head for days. I sincerely recommend this dorama to everybody!

Both are feel-good dramas set in the Japanese high school scenario. Both highlight the values, the knowledge and the strong bonds of friendship high school provides us with.

Very funny! I enjoyed it a lot, but I must admit I thought it became too slow at one point! Either way, its definitely worth a try if you're looking for a laugh!

I started watching this drama expecting a super random comedy but this drama turned out to be much deeper, which I totally liked.

At one momment I was laughing and the other my attention was caught by the character development and growth, it was a perfect combination.

Nagase Tomoya acting was superb, I highly recommend this drama.

It is pretty amazing isn't it? I find the characters growth fascinating. I am only on ep 5 and I had to stop for a breather. its so weird, it freaks me out, it makes me laugh and I could see it making me cry too. it is with much anticipation that i dive back in for the final 5 episodes. BTW this is the MOST i have laughed in so long. People in my house came to see what in the world I was watching. the word pudding will never be the same for me.... :)

Whenever Nagase Tomoya had his hair down, he really reminded me of Vic Zhou in Mars.
