Lee Ji Eun, known as IU, is a South Korean singer and VJ from LOEN Entertainment. IU debuted on September 24, 2008 with her first mini-album, LOST and FOUND, in which she was praised by various Korean artists for her strong vocals. IU is known to often sing other artists' songs with her guitar, most notably: SHINee's 'Juliette', BIG BANG's 'Lies', Super Junior's 'Sorry Sorry' and SNSD's 'Gee'. IU was the one who sung the ending title song, Araro (아라로) for the acclaimed MBC drama, Queen Seon Duk, where she was recommended by the music director of the drama. (Source:Last.FM)
