Ji Hyun-Woo (born Joo Hyung-Tae) is a South Korean actor, musician and fashion model. He attended Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul. Has been the guitarist of indie/rock band "The Nuts", and has acted in the main roles in most of their videos. First notable role is in the drama 'Old Miss Diary' where he played a character under his own name. The drama was such a big success, it was also released as a movie. He noted in 2010 that the character from 'Old Miss Diary' was still very dear to him. After his first drama he started landing in bigger production dramas as the leading man. In 2011 he released his solo album 'Crescendo', which was produced by his older brother Ji Hyun-Soo, and all the songs were composed by Hyun-Woo himself. The lyrics of the title song 'Kid'(아이야) were written by his co-star in 'My Sweet Seoul' Choi Kang-Hee. He is best known for his lead roles in the TV dramas 'A Thousand Kisses' (2011) and 'Queen In-Hyun's Man' (2012). He enlisted to military service on July 3, 2012.
