MDL’s Article System launching today! [Apply to be a writer!]

Hi my fellow MDLers!
I’m incredibly happy to announce the launch of MDL’s Article System today. Ji-n and I have been working on getting this up in the last few months and it’s finally here! So what is the Article System you ask? Pretty much, it’ll be a section where we will have Drama/Movie/Actor/Asia related articles. This means editorials,  the latest news, interviews, etc. The best part of all is that most of this articles will be written by normal users like yourselves! It won’t be one of those sections/sites where a select few are picked and the others have no say in the matter. If you want to write articles, and you write English fairly well, chances are that your article will be on the front page of MyDramaList very soon!

Why should I write articles?
-Your article will have tens of thousands of readers on one of the biggest Drama Communities on the web!
-You’ll have an “about me” section on each article where you can advertise your blog/twitter and so forth.
-You’ll be able to influence thousands of drama fans to watch the shows that you love!

How can you apply?
If you’re confident in your written English skills, send a Private Message to Hangebokhan (our Editor in Chief) with a quick summary(100 words or less) of what your article will be about. She will contact you when she reads it, but please be aware she is on JST so it may take some time.

-To clarify, you don't need to write articles every week. If you want to write 1 article every few months, or just have it be a one time thing that is fine too. If you want to write an article every week, that's fine too.

    What do you mean by news and entreviews? Coz drama related stuff is usuallu translated on kpop websites and such... can you give me examples of things I can write? Recommendations, things we find similar in dramas, other interesting stuff... is it relevant?

    I'm super interested but i have a question, does the article i submit have to be a new article, can it be an episode review or MV review or a song/album review as well?

    I am sorry I wasn´t of much help though :(
    I was really busy every day(probably not as much as skye and Ji-n though O.o)
    But I promise when I have some spare time and a good idea I will give it my try :D
    Btw great idea!!! MDL changed so muchlately....in a really positive way...
    It was great before but now...it´s just awesome (=_=)

    I'm interested in applying, but I'm a bit confused by the application/article-writing process: are we applying to write individual articles, one at a time, or are we applying to be a regular article writer, like a columnist of sorts?

      Well either really. If you have an idea for a series even, you can do it that way, or if you have an idea for just one article you can do it that way as well.
