Top 5 Korean Dramas with the Best Soundtracks

One of the most important things in a drama is the quality of the music that it has in it. A dramas OST/Soundtrack can literally make or break a drama. Is that why music dramas like Dream High or Shut Up: Flower Boy Band have such high ratings? Who knows as I haven't seen either of them. One of my favorite things to do after I finish a drama, is to listen to the soundtrack of the drama. It helps bring back the awesome rush of great memories that were made watching the drama. That is why a week ago I decided to create a poll on our Facebook page (like it if you haven't already) to see what dramas our fans thought had the best soundtracks. Soon afterwards, i decided to translate those results (at least the top 5) into this article. So keep in mind that the results are NOT my top 5, and that the results mostly surprised me. Oh and keep in mind that the videos below each drama is just one song I randomly picked from the OST. Well here we go:

    I saw Boys over flowers almost 4 years ago and the music still gets me excited ! Even when I dnt know nothing about korean language, BBF will be my favorite ever!

    Because I'm Stupid is actually the only song of BoF that I really like. The other songs are so-so. Aside from that and the fact that SUFBB isn't there I agree with the list.
    And even though it's still airing, To The Beautiful You has got an awesome soundtrack :D

    What about my girlfriend is a gumiho? What is more in my opinion Heartstring has got better ost than BOF. And as far as historical dramas are concerned I would choose Arang and the magistrate's soundtrack. It's great.

    We're missing Love Rain here <3 Mary Stayed Out All Night and Playful Kiss also had good soundtracks.

    Mary Stayed Out All Night should be #1. Loved Heartstrings, Shut Up Flower Boy Band, and You're Beautiful.

    I think the better OST for Heartstring is Because I Miss You - but love both!

    I didn't watch all of these dramas but I listened to the OSTs and it's right that all five have good musics!

    Well my top 5 would be the same I would've add shut up flower boy band.
    Boys Over Flowers had such a great OST, loved it and fell in love with k-pop

    I thought Bad Couple fit the emotions and the story itself so well - just hearing the music itself could bring tears to my eyes; the melody and singers were beautiful and delicate, just like the characters in the story. Also, there is not one OST on that soundtrack that I didn't love. So, even though it isn't the most well-known soundtrack, I think it's the best.

    I just finished Shut Up! Flower Boy Band before I saw this post....it should definitely be #1. So addictive. I personally got sick of the music in You're Beautiful though...BOF and Secret Garden had great music. But SUFBB was just perfect.
