The KBS drama Full House, which aired in 2004 and earned much love not only in Korea but throughout Asia, will be producing a season 2 as a pan-Asian drama with participation from Korea, Japan, and China.

The original was big enough international Hallyu hit that you’d figure anticipation would be equally high at home. After all, the show did capture 40%+ ratings when it aired in 2004. Accordingly, the actors (Starring No Min WooHwang Jung Eum and Park Ki Woong) will naturally attract much recognition in Asia, and will also have tremendous value as a Hallyu drama.

The drama will air its first episode on October 5th via TBS channel 2 in Japan. Kim Jonghak Production, the drama’s production agency, revealed that Full House Take 2 will air in South Korea after Japan and has sold rights to China. It was previously reported that the drama was originally scheduled to air in South Korea back in May but was delayed for no given reason. China airing will be fixed later this year but is still in discussion with local broadcasting agencies.
