Lee Seung Ki's Upcoming 2013 Drama

On October 18th it was officially announced actor Lee Seung Ki will be starring in MBC's new historical, romance drama called Guga Medical Book/Ancient Medical Book. This drama will be directed by Shin Woo-Cheol ( Secret Garden, A Gentleman's Dignity, City Hall) along with Kang Eun Kyung ( Man of Honor, King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo, Dal Ja's Spring) as writer of the drama.

Cast: Aside from Lee Seung Ki ( King2Hearts, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Shining Inheritance) as the male lead, the others are still unknown. However, actress and singer Bae Suzy ( Dream High, Big) from Miss A is currently in the spotlight rumored to be his co-star. Suzy revealed she received an invitation asking her to join the cast, but she is still considering the role.

Plot: Nothing big has been revealed about the plot yet. Lee Seung Ki takes on the role of a half human half beast character that resembles a Gumiho (nine-tailed-fox) Isn't it a coincidence to see him switch roles with Shin Min Ah in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho?

    love lee seung ki, and his dramas are some of my favorites. suzy is an okay actress from what i've seen, but i like her and wouldn't minds seeing her experiment with different roles. however--i cannot possibility fathom any realistic chemistry between the two--it just doesn't suit at ALL. as such, i would prefer they not be cast as a pairing.

    also, i think it quite ironically funny that lee seung ki is in fact playing a character similar to a love interest of another of his dramas. i don't know if that makes me more eager to watch this drama, or more hesitant. :/

    i love seungi, but im not shore about suzy yet. i hope she can pull it off, i like her has a singer!

    I have no problem with the actors. I like Suzy and SeungGi. They are gorgeous and great actors. Btw, is this saeguk, I mean a long saeguk? i hope not. I haven't read a clear synopsis yet. Anyways, I'm anticipating this one. Who's with me? hehe

    I obsolutly am going to watsch it! Suzys actinng skills are not bad as she showed in Dream High. But I hope her new character woul be different and i believe she can master it!
