MyDramaList talks to Netflix Kdrama Actor Andrew Bishop, who worked alongside late Lee Sun Kyun
Hi everyone,
MDL is in need of volunteers to help the site out. As you know, MyDramaList is a community driven site where every single user can help add every itsy bitsy bit of information. However, in order to be on top of every single thing in the drama world, we need more members to help out regularly (and in different ways.)
We need:
Approval Staff: People who can approve the Drama/Movie/Actor changes that normal users send in, as well as approve new dramas/movies/actors.
Writers: We need more writers who can write articles for our front page on anything drama related from the latest Drama News, to your top 10 *insert random Drama related thing here*, to nearly anything drama related. An issue many people stated was that they don't know what to write about, and if you have that issue just email us. We can send you some ideas (I literally have 20+ topics waiting to be written). The only limitation for writers is that you have to be confident in your English. It doesn't necessarily have to be your first language, just please be decent at it so our poor editors don't end up crying. Which takes us to our next need.
Editors: We need a few editors who can edit articles that are sent in. The only requirement is that you have enough time and that your English be relatively flawless.
Creative/Contest Staff: We need a staff member who can create contests, among other creative new things.
Database Team: As you all know, every user can add dramas/movies/actors etc to our database. Every user can also change any info and so forth. However, in addition to this, we want to create teams of people who can constantly help improve any missing data and so forth. In other words, be responsible for making sure we have all the correct information for upcoming dramas and movies and so forth. Database teams will usually be assigned dramas/movies to work on.
-Note: Database teams will be organized into countries (South Korea/ Japan/ China/ Hong Kong/ Taiwan). The faster we get more actors/dramas/movies and so forth into our system, the faster we can move on to adding new countries.

EDIT from Skye: So we've had so many people send emails! Thank you so much to everyone who has responded. Due to the sheer number of emails, it will take me a few days to respond to everyone, but I'll get through it!
