The 51st Golden Bell Awards were held on October 8, 2016 at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. These awards are Taiwan's equivalent to the Emmy Awards which means that they represent one of the most important events related to the entertainment industry in the country.
