Your pictures are amazing when you take into account the camera you used. I wonder how much better your pictures would be if you had a proper camera.
(I have a Canon 70d btw)

I used only auto mode on my 70d for ~6 months after I got it. It takes practice to gain confidence to switch and try to learn all the other modes. But once you do, it's SO MUCH MORE FUN! I really, really love taking slow shutter speed pictures like these:

Definitely. Having a DSLR definitely opens up a new world of photography for you though. They're amazing.

Wow! Beautiful photos. I was into photography but now that we no longer travel, that hobby of mine has taken a backseat to Asian dramas and movies … and reading, which I have always enjoyed.

beautiful pictures, both of you! @Skye-N-Rain, I find your pictures very serene, while I find @sylwia's more "pop" and fun because of the vibrant colors... (Just my impressions, sorry if I'm a bit off)
I'm not much of a photographer (actually even just for fun, I never want to "interrupt" a moment I'm enjoying because I feel if I stop and take a picture, I won't be part of that moment anymore), but one of my best friends has been taking pictures since he's 12-13, and I really love them! Here's the link to a website with pictures he took 2 years ago. Obviously since he started so young, he has invested in a good camera.

^Valid point with not wanting to interrupt the moment. Personally, I have a terrible memory though, so I love taking pictures to kind of "preserve" the moment. Later on I can go back and feel the rush of emotions that i felt at that time.

I love the portrats your friend takes! He's talented.

Another person into photography here! I had a look through your photos Skye-N-Rain and I really like your landscapes, they're so beautiful. I wish I lived somewhere more scenic, or had the money to travel to places that are! I started photography as a hobby and then studied it at college for two years, which taught me a lot and I really enjoyed it. Hoping to find a career in it at some point.

my main lens is now Sigma 18-250mm f3.5-6.3.
I also have Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens.
I also have a third lens that was 18-135mm that came with my camera but when I bought the Sigma, it became kind of useless.
