Their fertility is one of the worlds lowest at 1.187. Replenishment rate that is required to keep population unchanged is 2.1. S-Korean working age population halves in 30 years with current fertility rate.
What this means is that within the next 10 years S-Korea will essentially become old people society in endless economical stagnation like Japan is now, but way worse, since Japan at least has managed to keep fertility around 1.5 which is relatively high compared to S-Korea. In other words, Korea will crash hard. No survivors. Adult diapers sold out nationwide.
