Help!
I'm looking for this asian movie/drama. It's NOT
"Cooking up a Storm." I used to watch it when I was around 7-8ish, so
about 10 years ago or something.
It goes like: a son and his
mother runs a restaurant. She is a culinary chef, however she gets
killed by some authorities.. Then he sets off on an adventure to become a
great chef. He meets some kind of culinary school/restuarant, and he
tries to cook "bok choy in a wok" but fails in front of the master/teacher.
From there, he learns how to cook along
side with other students. As the story progresses, he tries to compete
in a cooking contest for the emperor. The dish must make him [the
emperor] immortal or something... I remember a scene where they used
bean sprouts into a yummy dragon-shaped dish. There is a lot of cooking
skills in this movie, some fighting, drama, and comedy. If anyone would
know a title, a name, ANYTHING, pls help. I've been looking for
forever!! :(
