Just for your information - if you want a very beautiful romance drama with many lovely and cute moments involving family and children as well as the main couple (and if you don't mind some crazy draaamaaa in the last few episodes before the mangificent ending), and if you want to watch Fujiki Naohito as a main character looking absolutely gorgeous, then I encourage you all to watch Itoshi kimi e as soon as possible. You won't regret it!! :) Also, most of the supporting characters are pretty awesome.

Seriously, both Miho Kanno and Fujiki Naohito are great in this underrated drama.
miho kanno, last year she married sakai masato, when the first one began to be ignored and the second to climb to the top, kanno have another chance to shine lol I will add Itoshi kimi e to my PTW list
*thuds* He's like one of my few first crushes when i got into the Jdrama world <3

So you must understand me then, I'm glad :)
Glad to see a post about Fujiki san here,so I just make an account to share my feelings and some information. Being a fan girl since 2013 Feb, I really like him very much. Well......maybe not in love so much at first, but when you get to know him more, you will like him more XD He is so friendly, warm and committed to his work, always laugh like a little boy, but wise in nature. Although it is so difficult, I managed to go to Japan, and joined his fan club event on last Christmas. It was only for official fan club members, which he would perform and sing in the show. He would also talk about some interesting things about his work. Finally, he would have a short handshake with each fans there, and give a Christmas gift. Those two nights was really wonderful ^^ And I found that the real person is much more cute and charming, than what is on the screen. Next year (2015), he is going to preform in the stage drama , in New York and London, as Oshima. Hope you will have a chance to watch it ^^ If you want some more information about Fujiki san, I will try my best to answer what I know~
OMG, you made an account because of this discussion thread, that's so awesome!! :D <3 So, what made you discover Fujiki Naohito? What are your favourite dramas with him?

I agree, I also fell for him step by step. :) You're really committed, to have gone to Japan and all! (I wish I could go to Japan.) It sound so cool and very special, this event that you describe. It's natural I suppose that the real person is different from what we see on screen (his job is to portray another person after all, not to be himself!), it's nice to know that you found him to be even more cute and charming.

And WOW, he's doing Kafka on the Shore!! That is wonderful, I love that book so much. (I don't know, maybe I am a bit odd but I'm just happy whenever an actor/actress that I like is doing something related to a book/author I like. I'm having a huge fangirl moment here.) I think it's unlikely that I'll be able to see this stage drama because I am a student who can't afford to travel... but at the same time, it's not 100% impossible because I'm already in Europe so it would be completely normal to go on a little trip to London if only I had some money... So, thanks for sharing this information and giving me something to dream about!

Since you're volunteering to bring information, now I'm curious: would this be his first stage drama?

Also, I suppose being in the fan club means that you'll get to hear about upcoming dramas and movies? Please keep us updated if you hear any interesting news. :) (Hm, but with this project, maybe he won't have time for dramas and movies in the near future.)
I am not an native speaker of English, so I don't go to forum like this that much. I saw him in drama some years before, but only discovered him in Hotaru no hikari last year, and H no H is still my favorite drama with him. (Cuz it has special meaning to me? Something like first impression is unforgettable XD)

is not his first stage drama. His first stage drama was 「冬の絵空」in 2009, which is a very very sad story. Fujiki san was an stage actor in that drama (where stage actors had very low social status in the old days in Japan), who fall in love with the daughter of a rich merchant. And you know what would happen.........

As is going to perform in Japan in June and July this year, he is really busy for now, but the MC of the regular talk show < おしゃれイズム> on every Sundays will be continued as normal.

Some people saw him shooting for a new movie called now, but not yet confirmed by official.
By past experience, it is likely that he will be on a new TV drama in autumn or winter this year.

Thanks for the info. :)

I didn't know he's on a talkshow. I watched the episode you linked to - it was fun! I also watched a few more parts of episodes. As far as I could tell from the little that I watched, it's that other guy who does most of the talking, though.

Very many of us on this forum aren't native speakers of English, but that's okay. :)

Aaah, you're so lucky to be able to say that!!
The show < おしゃれイズム> is on air for more than 8 years, and still a famous talk show in Japan. He does not speak that much, but there are good chemistry between the MCs, and he mainly responsible for go outside with the guests.

2 episodes with funny outdoor scene recently

No subtitles, but that is a good way to learn Japanese.

The Xmas gifts handed out in the event - scented candles

And I am watching some of his old dramas now......
Eyeball17, thanks for the links! I don't have a lot of time on my hands these days so I ususally prefer to spend my things on things I can understand (i.e. with subtitles) but you're right that it's a good way to learn Japanese! :) (I did not understand a lot....) I should watch things without subs more often!! Maybe now I'll have more motivation... :p Which dramas are you watching now? :)
Hmm...... I do not understand much too, and too lazy to learn Japanese from text book or online lessons......But the reason that I watch those without subtitles, is just because I want to watch them so much? Maybe not really related to Japanese learning 0.0 Anyway, I think my Japanese is somehow improved. I just finished Nurse no Oshigoto 3 and a SP drama in 2013. The story of Nurse no Oshigoto 3 is not my type, but some scene is refreshing? I may continue to watch Nurse no Oshigoto 4, or pick up a new drama that is broadcasting now.
Well, that's a good enough reason. ;) If you find that your Japanese is improved from it, I'd say it's related to learning. "Informal learning" is still learning.

I looked up that nurse thing; it doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but here's what I just found out: There's going to be this drama special: http://mydramalist.com/korean-drama/9304/mori-mitsuko-wo-ikita-onna-nipponichi-aisareta-okaasan-wa-nipponichi-sabishii-onna-datta-

(That's probably the longest title I have ever seen...)
Because this thread needs more pictures.

I love his smile.

I'm not done yet...

...okay, that's all for now...
