What is good?

Also should MDL get something like a drama chart for each season like anichart?

really cant tell which would be good. but might pick up sanada maru if someone subs it. just a big fan of sakai masato and nagasawa masami
Thanks for the link.
don't know what is good, i was not interested at first.  will try some of them for actors' sake most of the time : Itsuka kono koi wo...; Specialist, Watashi wo Hanasanaide, Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wo, Sanada Maru, Kazoku no katachi, Utenai Keikan and Rinshou Hanzai Gakusha...
A seasonal chart on MDL would be such a good feature...!

I guess I'm curious to see how Mars turns out. But other than that not sure.
this winter is a rare season when we get Sakamoto Yuji's dorama (Itsukoi - getsuku) and TBS/Yuichiro Hirakawa/Yoshiko Morishita dorama (watashi o hanasanaide) in the SAME season :D
Those two, I think, will be quite good ...

for the others, I think I'll try Kazoku no Katachi, Tokyo Sentimental, Haburashi, Naomi and Kanako, Sanadamaru (if subbed), and Fragile
looking forward to Itsu koi and watashi o hanasanaide the most!
other than that i might check out Haburashi, Tokyo Sentimental and Otousan to Yobasete
I'm looking forward to Ooku (SP)~! Main reason would be because of Narimiya Hiroki.
My choices for this season: Sanada Maru, Naomi and Kanako, Tokyo Sentimental and Watashi wo hanasanaide (just for the cast). I already watched the first episode of Sanada Maru and I found it really interesting.
pamela is sanada maru subbed?
Hi Bannie! No, not yet. I watch it on my TV, in Japanese. Not very easy, but still understandable.
damn ur good. u live in japan too i suppose. *envy*
Yes, I'm in Japan and honestly, I like it a lot! As for my Japanese, after more than 10 years of study, there's nothing to be proud of...

Back to the dramas, I watched episode 2 of Sanadamaru yesterday and it is definitely good. The story is very interesting, the acting is good, the explanations about History are well done, sometimes I even laughed. I also like the way they film it, the images are beautiful.

I also watched the first episode of Watashi wo hanasanaide, and I wasn't really excited by it. Too slow for that kind of story, in my opinion, and one episode almost about the kids only when you're waiting for the cast, that's a little bit boring. But still, I will watch episode 2 anyway, just to see how it turns.

But the surprise for me came from Naomi to Kanako... The first episode was just... wow! The way the drama talk about DV is well done, I think, showing the psychological impact on the victim and the people around her/him (kids, friends,...). And Hirosue Ryoko's acting was amazing!
I'm watching Fragile. I read the original Manga last month to see if the story is promising, and its actually pretty interesting.

I was intending to watch Naomi to Kanako, but I decided to read the original Novel instead. I might watch it sometime in the future.
I'm usually pretty bad at following ongoing jdramas but for this season I've already started watching Kaito Yamaneko and Rinshou Hanzai Gakusha Himura Hideo no Suiri. I was surprised by how great Kaito Yamaneko has been so far - two episodes in and I've cried, laughed and had so much fun - I didn't expect much from Kamenashi but yeah, it's definitely one I'll keep on watching! As for Rinshou Hanzai, I watched the first ep and it's not that great but I'm mostly interested in it because I'm studying to become a criminologist and it's such a rare thing for them to have a role in mystery/crime shows so I'm curious to see how it works out. I'm still undecided on Watashi wo Hanasanaide - I read the book last year and it was just so-so in my opinion but Miura Haruma is in it so maybe i'll give it a go.
To be honest, I’m not a big fan of the book myself and I don’t really understand why it’s so popular. I’m reading it now, at the same pace as the drama, and for both I think “When will something happen?” Episodes 1 and 2 of the drama were, in my opinion, extremely boring. They are about their life as kids, so you have to wait until episode 3 to see the actors you want to see. So I waited and watched episode 3, which I found better, because it deals the characters’ personality aspects. However, I watched episode 4 last week and I got bored again.

I think the main characters are unpleasant and I don’t understand their reactions. I’m more interested by the story of Manami, one of the supporting characters.   Anyway, I will continue to watch until the end but for what I’ve seen so far it’s not what I could call a great drama.
