Can you guys recommend me korean movies based on true stories? Something like New TrialWay Back HomeHope and Han Gongju (this is too heavy for my liking though) ?

Thanks!!

I've never seen any of the movies you mentioned, so maybe these aren't at all what you're looking for.

The only things I can think of at the moment that are based on true stories:
Cart is based on events that really happened but is of course fictionalized
Set Me Free is based loosely on director/writer Kim Tae Yong's experiences (which is pretty crazy to think about! I loved this movie though)
Manshin is actually more like a documentary, dramatizing the life of a female shaman
Thanks!! I'll check them out. You should check what I have mention too. I have to warn you though, Han Gong Ju is too heavy ;)
Hi, the Korean movies that I have watched is not many, the one I know that is based on true story is The Crucible. I haven't watched but plan to do so soon.
I second "The Crucible".  Fantastic movie, but horribly sad and sickening, especially with the knowledge that it's based on true events.  Personally, I'll never watch it again.  I bawled my eyes out... :(
