whatever do you mean?
*As a warning to some of you who are new to lakorn. In some of the dramas, there is the use of rape as a plot twist. If you think you can't handle those scenes, fell free to ask me to tell you which ones have those scenes so you can avoid it. (I won't post which ones they are here because it would be giving away spoilers)*

Ok so here are some that I have seen:
Jam Loey Rak (Defendant of Love) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Jam_Leuy_Ruk_%282008%29

Wong Wian Hua Jai (Love Rotation) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Wong_Wien_Hua_Jai

Namtan Mai (Burnt Sugar) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Namtan_Mai

Kaew Tah Pee (Apple of My Eye) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Kaew_Ta_Pee

King Gor Rah Kah Gor Raeng (Sassy Love AKA Ginger is spicy, galang is hot) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Khing_Kor_Rar_Khar_Kor_Rang

Badarn Jai (The Nether Mind) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Badaan_Jai

Sawan Biang (Paradise Diversion) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Sawan_Biang_%282008%29

Those are the ones I have completed. This is the one I am currently watching:

Rak Leh Saneh Luang (Love Trick of Enchantment Trap, Tricky Love, Delusive Charm ) http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Ruk_Leh_Saneh_Luang
C4U's right they are called Lakorn :D
Oops I forgot to put that other one that I am currently watching:

Rak Nee Hua Jai Rao Jong http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Rak_Nee_Hua_Jai_Rao_Jong
So I started watching first thing off your list Jam Loey Rak and dear me it starts in a really overdramatised way bt let's see what happens next
SPOILERS IN WHITE

*Groan* I skipped everything except for the scenes with the main couple. The drama was... bad. The leads have great chemistry but the story is just ridiculous.

Starts off with a psychopatic series of events which take a bit too long and lead to a turn of events that is instantly 180 degrees different from the initial setup. Harit was really mercieless and in that found himself falling in love? He tortutred her AND fell in love with her? She fell in love him though he did so many things to her? Eh...really.

The chemistry was good overall; other scenes were mostly tiresome and overdrawn. And that screaming...and annoying behaviour of two other female characters, the cousin with ridiculous haircut and that previous wife of harit... But monkey was cute...aww he was so cute and Harit's assistant and that Nukul was also nice too.

But the story..it seems like they don't care at all about the story. It's just ridiculous! Cliched, threadbare...
Actors do good...but why are their being wasted on a poor material? :(

Now I am opposed to sequeles and people begging for sequels (because those begging for sequeles ALWAYS practucally end up being bored with sequeles..so what;s the point? -.-) and in the case of a lacorn like this one, it boggles my mind even more. Honestly.

I'll give it another shot and pick another story with those two actors (hey seem to have made quite a few...) but I think if this is any good example, then Thia lakorns leave a lot to wish for.

Sleepninja, did you really enjoy these dramas? From what I see..they are just distatesful..Thai men keep heir victim trapped, torture her, rape her and then fall in love? That is just TERRIBLE. Is that Thia idea of a good romance drama? Do they have some problems or what? And those love interests, the innocent good sister of wicked and scheming older sisters..do they always have to say "Do you want me to kills myself?" Geezzz...I don't think I will bother with these things, they are terrible. Can't believe good actors do these dramas.

Really, even Boys before flowers pale inc omparison to this because not even Jun pyo would go so far and Jun Pyou stopped rather quickly, while these Thai men in these dramas I have looked at...never have enough torturing the women they fall in love with. I am disgusted.
Well I found one that is actually fun to watch: http://wiki.asianfuse.net/index.php/Sood_Snaeha This one's really really nice.

Other than that, the stories in all of them as I look the syopses seem very contrived and they appear to really have little variance between themselves; moreover Thai seems to have very few actors...(?) they're really strange; Korean and Japanese are really much much better than these lakrons; even if stories use the formulas we all know, they always try to bring something fresher and do it it well; I get a great feeling of boredom from the lakrons whhich are different from one another technically..but aren't. And the episodes are too long.

One more thing thast came to my mind...isn;t it strange that they do rape but have problems kissing?

Well absolutely, Lady Violetta, I do believe it's nice to agree to disagree; I will be giving those reocmmendations a chance. Do you mind if I post links to synopses to those that I like? Maybe others may like some of my finds too and I'd like to share.
It's free to share our minds here, cuz it's drama & movie forum (^_^)v

Please tell us what lakorns which you like. I would like to know, perhaps those can be suggestion to what i should watch next.

@Bladey & @SleepNinja & @Crazy4You: Who are your favourite actor & actress in lakorn ?
Agreed about everyone having their own opinions and different tastes in dramas.

So far I've only seen Poo Yai Lee [which I loved] so for my favorite actor and actress at the moment - I'll have to go with Por and Ploy (: I do plan on starting another lakorn soon though! (:
