Separating Favorite Dramas, Movies and Actors/Actresses

how about this.... hopefully there not a thread on this if so whatever what you gonna do about it....... anyway what would be less stressful for people who like a ton of movies and actors and drama but we have to pick 5 total.. wouldnt be less stressful for us (well mostly me that is lol lol) to separate drama like top 5 favorite korean drama, top 5 japanese drama, top 5 taiwan drama and so forth....

same thing with movie: top 5 korean movies, japanese movies and so forth

and with actors: top 5 male actors korean actors and so forth

and finally actresses: top 5 female korean actresses and so forth


hopefully the all mighty, super-tastic, cool moderator guy will consider my proposal and if they accept my proposal then i will be forever be grateful

I think it'd end up being waaayyyy too long.
Like profiles will end up having 50+ things on the side, making the page waaaaaaaay too long.

10 for actors, 25 for dramas, 25 for movies. It'd lose the point of having your favorites and become those you somewhat like. if you feel like the 5 aren't enough, you can always modify your profile to add your other favorite actors/movies/etc in your about me section.

@Katrina: Or..you can change your favourites every week, rotate them, so to speak. I have come up with an idea: every week I thematise my favourites.

Just to give you an example:

One week-displaying favourites starting with the letter "J". Next week- favourites with the word "queen" in the title, some other week favourite romcoms... and so on.

I agree. 5 is a fine number. Maybe maximum of 10. It becomes very pointless when people have 200.

That's what I'm saying to the original poster, Bannie, and suggesting an alternative solution to her idea as I agree with Skye. I believe there is no need to change how top favourites are right now. Otherwise I wouldn't bother posting- what's the point in posting that I'm doing it? Zero. I just wanted to share an idea with Katrina..

I would love to have that many options for favorites, but I understand where Skyekeiku is coming from. I do something similar to what Bladey does and every so ofter rotate my faves around. Of course, I'm not as organized about it. It's random and happens when I get in the mood for a change. XD

And the great thing about our profiles now is that we can really fancy them up and make them pretty. You can add lists of your favorites on your profile and change the font, color and everything to highlight them and even comment about what makes them your favorite!
