    I wanted to create a thread where people who have lost a loved one could find support among their many friends here at MDL.

    Today I lost my best friend. Granted he wasn't always my favorite person but he was my best friend until the end.

    I didn't know you very long but I loved you.
    I didn't give birth to you but you were my baby.
    I didn't always get along with you but you were my friend
    I didn't share the same blood as you but you were my brother.
    There will never be another who will take your place.
    You will always be my Fuzzball.

    Thank you, he was a sweet dog. And when he was annoyed with you he'd tell you so. he was never a barker but rather a talker

    what an adorable dog. im so sorry for your loss .. i can't imagine losing my bunny, she is my soul.
    I lost my grandfather this past week.. his memorial was on Saturday. He was the strings holding my family together so im scared of what the future holds for my family now. I miss him already but i know he is at peace now with my grandmother. I hope i can grow up to live even half the amazing life he did. RIP :'(

    I'm so sorry for your loss losing a pet is like losing a best friend and a member of your family. I have lost two other pet dogs of mine too. It's such a loss.

    I hope you feel better soon <3 ps your dog is so so so adorable

    I am very sorry for your loss, your puppy was adorable! and i know how you feel cause i also lost my dog. I had him since he was a puppy and he died shortly after he turned five.

    I would like to say Thank you to everyone who commented. I will be burying my baby tonight and although it is going to be very hard, I know he is in the arms of an angel and I will see him again when it is my time. <3
