Featuring the trademark Chow slapstick humor, CJ7 is a comedy about a poor laborer father, Ti, played by Stephen Chow, and his young son, Dicky. When a fascinating and strange new pet enters their lives, Dicky, an elementary school student, sees a chance to overcome his poor background and shabby clothes and impress his fellow students for the first time in his life. The "pet" however has other ideas and when Dicky brings it to class, comedic chaos erupts including a showdown with the terrifying school bully, Storm Dragon!

  I started watching CJ7 as a mistake. When I was channel flipping I stumbled upon this movie and I was so in love with it that when commercials would interfere me I would get mad. CJ7 is such a cute movie and funny too with the wonderful acting of Stephen Chow. The story was orignal to me because I had never seen one before with this same plot so I loved the new story. Then the movie also had its sad parts and what I loved the most was the cute ending. This movie is a good movie to watch if you want a cute funny movie that you will enjoy no matter what.   I watched this movie with friends who were making wise cracks every minute or so, so I wasn't able to fully enjoy and comprehend the movie, so that's why I may not have loved this movie as much as I could have. The story was somewhat generic(by no means was it bad though), the Cast/acting, like in every Stephen Chow movie, was spectacular. The music was alright. As fore rewatch value, I'm not much of a rewatcher, but this would be a decent flick to rewatch. Overall, this movie is 8.
