I buddy-watched this drama. Well..... There's also the presence of Kamenashi Kazuya ~all smiles~ And as usual his acting was GOOD!!!

This Kami no Shizuku is the last puzzle Kanzuki (Kame) has to solve before he can inherit the wine collection his father left behind.
Kanzuki wasn't on good terms with his Dad till he died, so there were thousands of unanswered questions and the only way Kanzuki could get answers is by solving each and every puzzle his Dad left him. Apart from this, Kanzuki has vowed not to drink wine again at his 20th b'day, but in order to solve these puzzles he will have to at least taste various wines.

Kami no Shizuku isn't all about wine, there's of course romance, comedy and

I simply watched this for Kamenashi Kazuya and I have to say, it was a learning experience and a joy to watch. If you don't know anything about wines, your head will be full of knowledge by the end. What I especially like in JDramas is that they provide you with the information as you watch. So, you will learn terms that are strictly in relations to the wine industry. The story, about two men competing for the inheritance of millions of dollars of a wine collection, it really was not about that as you watch it. I found the story very interesting because you find out what the competition really is about, episode after episode. I definitely liked the end where every bottle of wine read more

  • They are both about alcohol enthusiasts and starring Johnny's actors. They are pretty similar in other ways as well.

I love this drama. Shizuku and Shinohara are cute together. Issei and his girlfriend are slightly off their rockers.

I just started watching this drama, but the second scene in the first episode is so ridiculous, I'm worried about the rest of the series. Is this just a romanticized view of wine or do people in Japan really not know about decanters?

I totally agree !!! i was socked that they don t know that a wine have to be harmonized with the meal... i don't know if it s just for the drama or it s true. Well wine is part of our culture so i can't say anything but for me it was just evident... so i dropped this drama longtime ago...

I honestly didnt have a clue what a decanter was until I watched this show. This show is to show how the characters progress and have deeper appreciation towards wine. It also teaches the audience a bit more about wine. Dont take dramas to heart. Its just a show.

You should keep watching it. There's a special twist in the show.
