These days, the term "homeless" has taken on new meaning. There are youths referred to as "net cafe refugees," who have neither a job nor a place to live, but who find themselves hopping around internet cafes. One such refugee is a 20-year-old girl named Chisato, who lost her mother at a young age due to sickness. She spent her youth trying to escape from the huge debt her father left her, and her battle with the repossessors unfolded every night. However, her life changed after meeting one man named Shinzo, changing her views on the meaning of "family." Shinzo comes from a rich family tracing back to the Edo period, and he adopted six good-looking sons with the hope of one becoming his successor, but all of them have strange personalities. Shinzo promises to free Chisato from her debt if she marries him and becomes the mother of his sons. However, a life with these six guys under one roof will not go smoothly.

The story was really fun. If you like mishaps and goofy dramas this is for you. The storyline was interesting and drew you through to the last episode. The guys are all cute in their own way.

There really isn't any drama or suspense in the storyline. Everything can be anticipated. The characters are all overacted which may annoy some. There are a few clumsy attempts at character development. But I still enjoyed it for what it is.

I would recommend this drama to people who liked RHPlus (although Atashi no Danshi is not as cheesy.) It's goofy, light hearted, and superficial. Sometimes you're just in the mood for that. At that time, check this out (^_*) v

Atashinchi no Danshi has one of the best and original storylines I have that I have come across in the dramas that I have seen. Nothing was cliche about it throughout. I enjoyed it right from the first scene itself. The premise of the story is hilarious and all the episodes made me laugh. They had some fresh jokes to offer and thank goodness for the fact that the expressions weren't as overdone as I have seen in other Jdramas. So that is why this comes one level higher than the others.

It was easier to enjoy this show because I was so familiar with the cast. Horikita Maki has probably acted in the best Jdramas. And I was so glad to see Mukai Osamu whom

i loved this drama! even though the romance in it is quite low which normally mean i dont watch the drama but this one had me laughing all the way through and i loved how the relationship between the characters developed too and i admit some of the whacky moments did annoy me slightly (some of the random gadgets) but nonetheless i still really enjoyed this drama and would recommend it for those who are looking for a light hearted comedy with a bit of romance and no drama really

Can anyone answer this question? I'm kind of confused.

So I'm now in episode 10. Kyoko-san recently told Chisato that Shinzo is her father. But this is so confusing? On the part where Kyoko was telling everything that happened, it is said that Shinzo met a girl (which is Fuu's mother) and Fuu is their child. Then Shiho is hiding the fact that she is pregnant with Shinzo's child? I thought they already broke up? and Fuu has a 10 year age gap with Chisato. How is this possible? Fuu is 30 and Chisato is 20. Sorry if my explanation is weird. I can't seem to put it up in words XD

I really liked this drama when i watched it. I think i looked at it 3 times after each other and it was just so good. I think what made this so good was that the romance was really low and in thsi kind of drama that was better. My favorites was Takeru, Masaru and Satoru ^^

Where is Okayama Tomoki as the 6th son, Okura Akira?? We don't have his profile yet too. He should be part of the main cast.

Did anyone else find it hilarious every time Takeru called Chisato Chibiko? He's only like half a head taller than her.
