Tumbling Episode 1

Azuma Wataru is told he has two options: take supplementary lessons or join a club. Not wanting to take the extra lessons he seeks out a club. When he sees Satonaka Mari, the transfer student, excited by the Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics Club he finds himself also impressed by their tumbling and decides to join as well. Wataru doesn't understand how someone could make something like tumbling a dream, but he starts to come around and decides to give it a real chance.

The Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics Club might disband and Yuta begins to lose his confidence as a leader, further deciding that his dream isn't going to come true. Meanwhile Ryosuke, Wataru's friend, gets himself mixed up in some shady business. As Wataru becomes more passionate about tumbling his friendship with Ryosuke starts to take a turn.

Ryosuke and Nippori have joined the Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and start to train. The club needs new mats so they decide to participate in a festival for 100,00 yen. But then Nippori stops coming to class and club activities, saying he doesn't want to participate and never did. Wataru and the club help Nippori out with his troubles and the group performs at the festival together.

Satoshi is sick and he tries to hide his illness from the others. Also, Kiyama's secret is revealed as a nasty rumor about him starts to spread - Wataru, knowing the truth, defends him. As Satoshi experiences an attack in front of the club members, he's forced to give up his dream of doing a group performance for the sake of his health. Kiyama, also, overcomes what happened in his past with the help of Wataru.

Kiyama has joined the team and they all go to a training camp. Mizusawa has a secret he's trying to hide, but after Satoshi comes across a picture of Kiyama in something Mizusawa dropped the secret starts to come out. As Mizusawa tells Satoshi that he doesn't want anyone to know about his feelings, a rival from another team overhears and tells everyone that he's gay. Not wanting to be a burden to anyone, he decides to quit the team.

Tumbling Episode 6

Yuuta decides that the team needs to learn a new skill in order to win. So the team starts to learn the cross change skill and an accident happens with Kaneko. Feeling guilty about this, Yuuta becomes unable to jump again. Wataru learns from his mother that his father is still alive and doesn't have long to live. Wataru and the gang help Yuuta find his jump again and they're able to learn the cross change. Wataru also decides that he should see his father.

Hino's father doesn't believe that Hino is qualified for rhythmic gymnastics and gives him a choice of transferring to a better school. Wataru meets with his father and the two start to bond when he passes away. Not wanting Hino to lose a chance at telling his father how he feels, Wataru steps up and tells his father that Hino really loves what he does and that he should see him perform before he judges him. At the competition Hino steps in to help.

Kashiwagi sensei is trying his best to do what he can to help the team since he knows nothing about how to coach a rhythmics gymnastics team. The boys, not aware, hire a professional coach to help train them. Kashiwagi is offered a job to teach soccer and is conflicted as to what to do. The coach they hired conned them into learning last year's winner's dance, and he punches the coach and decides to quit, and the team learns just how much effort their sensei dedicated and bring him back.

Akabane is back, and he wants revenge on Wataru. Yashiro is a new student that Kaneko knew from his childhood. He tries to convince him to join the club. Kaneko also has a new trick he has to learn for the upcoming tournament. After Yashiro joins things start to happen and Ryosuke and Nippori get blamed for things they didn't do. The team might have to withdraw from the tournament.

The club is told they might have to withdraw but they continue to practice. Yuuta suggests a test to decide on which members will go to the competition - and they must do 3 back flips. They struggle with their own issues but overcome them. The day of the competition arrives and Akabane is determined to mess up the competition in his revenge against Wataru. Kiyama, sensing this, goes to stop him.

Akabane threatens Wataru that if he wants to save Kiyama he has to come to him. Wataru leaves hoping to save him and tells the others to focus on the competition. In the end, they show up and help win back their team members and hurry to the competition. They're almost forced to withdraw but the thanks to the teachers, they were allowed to participate.
