Sakaki Makio, also known as "Tornado" is a tough 27-year-old high school drop-out. By academic standards, he's pretty dumb. His father decides to force Makio to return to high school to receive his diploma and he asks an old friend who happens to be the principal of a nearby school to admit Makio. If Makio doesn't graduate, the position of boss will be given to his younger brother, Mikio. Furthermore, he must pose as a 17-year-old during school hours and in the presence of any classmates or teachers outside of school. If his cover is blown, it would be the end of his high school career as well as his hopes to become boss. Things start out rough and tough as Makio's violent temper is tested. As the lessons and days go by he learns there is much more to school than just tests and studying.

I can't give this drama anything but a 10/10 because for its style it was perfect. It was almost exactly what I was expecting.

Whoever is in need of a light comedy should watch this. Expect many hilarious moments. Nagase Tomoya is very expressive, you'll most likely burst into laughter at the mere sight of him. However, expect some depth too. They handle serious matters as well: redefining one's life, learning about true love and friendship, surpassing one's limits. These are all expressed very well and they transition smoothly into and out of the humour. You'll find some very touching moments too, but that's definitely not the defining theme of the drama. It's almost entirely comical. And despite basing itself on serious matters, it manages to

This is the funniest dorama ever. Nagase Tomoya is hilarious, and the plot is cute and funny, and his facial-expressions are out-of-this-world. I laughed so much while watching this, and I've watched it 3 times already. It's not serious, but quite light, and the beginning song (Sorafune by TOKIO) is lovely as well, and sticks in your head for days. I sincerely recommend this dorama to everybody!

  • If you like one of these dramas chances are high you'll like the other because they both are HILLARIOUS and they both have the main characters being in positions that are unusual(having a samurai possess you and going back to high school.)

  • Both really funny dramas about delinquents in high school.

This seems a little like Billy Madison, but without Adam Sandler.

I enjoyed this drama very much and I rated it 10 because it is simply one of the best I have seen so far. The mixture of comedy, manga acting and original plot works perfectly well tegether and all the actors are incredibly good. This is the first drama that I watch with Nagase and from what I have seen he hasn't acted in any other similar ones after this one which is a real pity. It is definitely a drama that I would rewatch many times. Go for it!

He may be likeable but after a few more episodes I think the actor's not doing a very good job a conveying tyhe character's slowness, I'm actually convinced less by him as the drama goes on...It's a pain watching this and skipping doesn;t help eiether; it;s very tedious for mw so I'm going to drop.

I do not feel the humour here, it's not funny for me at all- it's very tiresome. I am not entirely sure where the pull of the drama is supposed to be... But even so, the story is decent with the going back to school theme in order to learn "all the important things". I'm not sure I'm going to finish it yet; I might because I like the underlying serious theme but this drama is simply not funny: it's tedious. Don Quixote is much better. This one: 5/10.

Also the lead is likeable enough and the actor who plays his father is a really good actor but this drama just doesn't work for me, it doesn't click, not like Don Quixote did.
