Driven by his desire for revenge, he survived his harsh years on the street and made his name as a slave hunter, dedicated in his pursuit to find Un Nyun, his first and only love. Song Tae Ha is a General of the Army who became a slave after being falsely accused of a crime he did not commit, and finds himself on the run from Dae Gil's relentless pursuit. So much badassery in this show it was amazing. First: Jang Hyuk and the way he played Dae Gil. I love that the lead character was constantly straddling the line between sanity and insanity; redemption and damnation; coldness and having feelings that ran so deep he must try in any way he could to kill them. Well Played Jang Hyuk! Second: The storyline was interesting and detailed. Along with the mix of drama and humor it kept me hooked to the very end. The cinematography, the pacing; the fact they were constantly on the move kept me moving right along with them. Third: The fight scenes were very cool. Usually I do not like a long drawn out fight scene but I found myself thinking a read more

Story: What is fated love? This drama explores this well with an excellent backdrop of history and action. There is never a boring scene in this drama. The fighting scenes are phenomenal and they are actually my favourites - they are not too complicated or fancy like the chinese kungfu series but energetic and very real, hence the beauty of them. I like it that the writer had choosen to depict a romance story amidst a time of turmoil in Korean history when there were struggles between slaves and aristrocats while being under the rule of a weak king. I like it that the story did not overly dwell in the political scenarios but used the political scenarios as a backdrop to what is to be read more

I read all the reviews on this drama... and found myself thinking... am I the ONLY one who thought the ending was utterly depressing? I was crying for hours. Maybe it's because I'm too sensitive...? I think the drama was so well made that I became too attached to *cough* a specific character, which is probably why I hated the ending T~T

Warning: If you're like me, you might want to stop before the last episode, or else you'll suffer from a horrible case of PDDS (Post Drama Depression Syndrome).

lol I appreciate your comment. I'll now watch this during summer break. I already suffered from PDDS once after watching Iris and almost screwed up on my exams. Don't wanna go through that again...

*sigh* I made the same mistake over and over again... I finished watching this right before my diplomas... *cough* Not a good idea. But good idea~ It's a really awesome drama, and would've topped my personal favourites list had it not been for the ending Q-Q
