This drama had a great storyline mixed with great actors wo knew how to deliver feelings. The plot was set up greatly in order to make everything seem natural and appealing.
The actors had a great way to express the story which was a great masterpiece of art; the noble feelings, the frustration moments, the happy moments and even the sad moments: they were all greatly done.
The story had many sides: starting with revenge, moving to action and romance then a little friendship, a lot of hardship and many events that kept getting more and more interesting as the episodes went by.
I have to say that the cast and the acting skills were incredibly awesome, there were enjoyement moments everywhere in here read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

Story: What a story! The writer/s of this drama know how to write! This was action, adventure, revenge and romance done right. As you watch this drama, you notice it is almost like riding a ride. Some of the episodes are packed full of dramatic tension and zip by so fast that when the credits roll you sit there thinking "The hour is over already?" There is a depth and smartness to how the characters are written and for the most part, the pacing of the 20 episodes is framed very well. All good stories need moments of 'set-up' and because there are so many bad ass episodes when the action calms and there is a need for some exposition read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

I rather liked City Hunter. The story was interesting, even if it was a bit slow sometimes and a little unbalanced between the action and romance. Lee Min Ho isn't the best actor in the world, but his eye candy-ness definitely makes up for it. All the supporting cast did really well. I especially liked Lee Joon Hyuk as Prosecuter Kim Young Joo. The music was really good. I was on the edge of my seat in a lot of parts, yelling at the screen "No! read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

It took me some time to get through the very first episodes but when they were finished I sat glued to my computer.
City Hunter is a bit different from the other dramas I watch. Mostly lovey-dovey romantic comedies are dominant in my heart but I'm glad I got, finally, made myself watch this one. It has everything; action, love, friendship, relations overall and a freaking amazing plot that is very complicated but still easily understood for someone who isn't that familiar with Korean politics and other relevant areas.
Number one in this drama was, of course, the beloved Lee Min Ho, and yes, his character was awesome in every thinkable way! Handsome, kind, heroic and fights like a king! Yet, read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

Lee Min Ho has this magnetic pull but in this one this pull was increased to a whole new level.throughout the drama my eyes rarely left him.He silenced his critics with this drama, that being handsome is not all he is.he's got talent too.
This is a fairly refreshing drama dealing with action and romance at the same time.it did its job perfectly.the action sequences were good
the acting by Kim Sang Joong is amazing.i loved him as yoon sung's father. He was very convincing as the bad guy in this one.Park Min young did her job well too.the best treat out of this was lee yoon suk who read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

I waited until now to watch it, I mainly watched it because of its story which was a masterpiece of art. I couldn't think of a better cast than Min Ho as the lead actor; this is one of the dramas that made him snatch a spot in my favorite actors list.
The prosecutor Kim Young Joo, I totally fell in love with his role; I keep waiting for any scene he have with Yeon Sung! And let's not forget the rest of the cast who were awesome; their roles read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

First thing- story: When I was watching the drama, I was so excited! It really keeps in suspense. I must admit I rather don't like anything what is connected to politics but this time it didn't annoy me. It even makes me want to watch more. What was very important for me was that there was no character in this drama who was only good or only bad. The advantage and faults was mixed in every single character so it made them more human.
Acting/cast: I can't imagine anyone else than Lee read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

I finished watching this drama quite a long time ago (roughly 2 years?)but I still remember, well, most of it. Since I re-watched bit of it yesterday, I figure I should write a review.
I absolutely love the idea of the plot. This type silent hero who seeks for revenge just kills me. My first impression of the drama was: "Oh, something like the modern version Iljimae?!" so when I watch first episode I was not impressed. In many ways, the drama could have done better. While I appreciated that it was necessary as the foundation of the story, I found it hard to swallow and lengthy. The story did get better when the revenge and romance kicked in later in the middle read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

Actually, my first priority in Asian dramas is romance and love. But while watching City Hunter, I got addicted to the fighting scenes (sheez Lee Min Ho looks good in those D:) and the constant suspense. I watched the entire drama in just a few days because I was so curious to its story, and eventually its ending.
The use of music was magnificent. The instrumental scene music was used very well, the OST fits the read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful
