So...if I start this review by saying I'm giddy in love with Park Shi Hoo would you roll your eyes, call me a fangirl and stop reading? You would? Well, then I'm not going to say it! Hey! Stop hovering your mouse over that unhelpful button and keep reading! I've have lots more to say about this Amazing show.

This drama started out with a lot of comparisons to Romeo and Juliet. It does have the element of two people who fall in love in spite of their family's bitter rivalry. But where the two part company is that in Mr. Shakespeare's original work you don't really get very much back story about why the Capulet's hate the Montague's. You simply know they hate each other

I'm going to throw myself out on a limb here and say, YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY WATCH THIS DRAMA! There is no doubt in my mind that despite this Drama is currently ongoing, this is quite possibly the best Drama i have ever watched. I even watched the RAWS to just feed my obsessive love for this Drama and still they do not suffice, i I WANT MORE!

Park Shi Hoo's performance in this is absolutely stunning. Words cannot begin to formulate how well he plays his role. At first i watched it as i would a normal Drama...check out the first episode see how things go from there; and as soon as i watched the first 20 minutes...i was captivated. Some may say

If I have to describe this show in one word that'll be, MASTERPIECE. I have seen nothing like this before though the whole premise is about the undying story of Romeo and Juliet but there is much better told than that! It is a star-crossed lovers that happened in the time when you can't opposed to your parents. What set this apart from the previous set of stories and dramas that were already out there is the whole story-telling. Everything is like a poetry! I love every part of this drama!

In the acting category, I don't have complaints since all of them can deliver and not just a one dimensional character. Though at first, I thought PSH is not suited for the role since he

Let me first say I'm not an avid Historicals watcher. Because of this my scores might not reflect the same love that everyone else has for The Princess' Man.

Story- The first 12 episodes were okay. They went by at a good pace not too slow but nothing significant happened to capture my attention. I felt they could have cut a couple of episodes out of this part of the story, making the drama shorter. The last 12 episodes were epic and filled with heartbreaking romance, action, and just plain excitement. The ending was bittersweet but a pleasant surprise.

Acting- I'm really really glad Park Shi Hoo took this role on. He showed in his last 2 dramas

    My Mini Back-story:

It`s been around a year that I haven't watched Korean dramas. Why? A lot of them are repetitive or lack originality in terms of plot and characters. Fortunately, out of the blue, I had this weird Korean nostalgic epiphany after randomly viewing The Moon That Embraces the Sun (TMTETS). And since TMTETS hasn't finished airing, I asked a friend for a list of recommendations. I was in a mood for a period/sageuk drama. Hence, I chose The Princess's Man. Boy, it was epic!

    Storyline:

Where should I begin? I believe the correct first description is amazing. If you are still doubtful, then please do read on.

The pacing of The Princess's Man is just near perfect (at least in the latter half). If

When I started watching it, I was still hesitant. I'm not really a fan of historical dramas, but it seems I'm slowly becoming one. "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" was my first, and it was totally amazing... And not "The Princess Man" totally blew my mind.

The actors chemistry is definitely superb. They made me smile and cry at the same time. The "Romeo x Juliet" story was totally heart breaking, and a lot more well-done.

The plot was the thing that made be more excited and, at the same time, more upset. They rush the first episodes, where the viewer watch their feelings for each other, making us confused about how their feelings were so deep.
The plot was damn exciting, every episode had their own twist. That was

This is the first time I am writing a review! I just finished watching this drama. My suggestion is to keep watching!!!

Once, my friend and I were talking about which drama we preferred. And she said "One that would make me cry."
Well if i had the chance i would definitely would suggest her to watch this.

I have to say the acting was simply great. Those characters that I despised in the beginning changed my thoughts in the end. I was actually crying for them. It turned out to be a lesson for them.

I loved the romance. This is a great remake of Romeo and Juliet!!!!

As for the story of revenge. I thought about what the writer was thinking. In my mind

Ohh where to begin! This drama I wasn't sure I was even going to pick up but around 4 episodes out I started to watch it. It's my very first saeguk drama as well. In the beginning I didn't have any expectations for it - except for a happy ending. As the episodes progressed I found myself more and more liking the drama. And then somewhere around episodes 8 or 9 I became addicted to it. Each episode kept getting better - I found myself in a whirl of emotions while I watched. Waiting each week I tried to be patient but as soon as subs were available I dropped everything else to watch it.

The story has a Romeo & Juliet theme

    Story:
The story was phenomenal, you just can't stop watching the moment you start and it continues to pull you in until the very end. I couldn't count the amount of times I cried. It's a very moving story and you cant help but feel attached to the characters and feel sympathy for them.

    Acting:
The Acting was amazing! I especially liked Park Shi Hoo, he did such a great job portraying Kim Seung Yoo's rollarcoaster ride of emotions. I liked him so much that I will probably go and watch more of the dramas he is in. Everyone else did a wonderful job as well.

    Music:
The music was good....at first, but once you hit the further episodes you're begging for them to stop playing
