Well, I have to say that I give Protect the Boss a solid 9. I wanted to give it a 10 because the acting was wonderful and for about 85% of the time, I enjoyed this drama very much. Sad to say, as usual, the extension killed the momentum and slowed things down during the last third of the drama's run.

I find more fault with the whole "Drama Producing Machine" rather than with the writers, actors or director. I think if this show would have been able to stay on course and end at 16 episodes it would have been beyond great. The extra filler did it no favors. Having said all that...

This drama had such a different and fresh feel to it! Yes,

Without posting spoilers it's difficult to explain why I liked this drama so much.
First, the story was interesting from beginning to end. I didn't feel like there was any lag as it got close to the end.
Second, I easily related to the male lead because I have some of the same issues he does.
Third, despite all the ups and downs I enjoyed the family dynamic.
Fourth, good combination of romance, comedy, and friendship
Last, excellent chemistry between all the actors.

It instantly became my favorite drama and I wonder (and doubt) if it will ever be dethroned as my #1.

  • In Protect the Boss, No Eun Seol becomes Cha Ji Heon's secretary. She whips this immature, rich man into shape and falls in love with him. In How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor, Jung Yoon Hee becomes Yoo Joon Suk's secretary. She cracks his cold, businessman shell and falls in love with him.

Ji Sung is so cute in this one! I love his characters and he do a great job, i must say that it's the only reason... No ok, the comedy is great too, but after that it's the only reason i'm watching this drama. The female lead, Kang Hee has never been one of my favorites :/

Yes. watch it! It is one of the funniest dramas I've watched and the couple has great chemistry together. You can feel that imperfect as they are, they are perfect for each other. Full of romance, comedy and friendship. :o)

Loved the 'fantasy kiss' scene. Jae Joong for most of the show was good looking, but not particularly sexy, so that scene really got to me. Turns out he's a sexy beast in disguise. This was my first encounter with him so I was surprised.

I cant remember what drama drew me to him, but Ive always liked him since then. He was sexy to me, but more so in a handsome way. Then there was that fantasy kiss scene that changed that COMPLETELY. Literally speechless when I saw it!!! My reaction: "Wait, wait!! Just...wait...it happened so fast and i was caught off guard..." **rewinds****

I enjoyed this drama while it was lighthearted and fun. I thought that it would continue to be like this until the end, but boy was I wrong. I really enjoyed the characters- chairman cha was the best evarrr, until the end where he suddenly turned into the parent of every drama i watched. PFffft. Really annoying.

Absolutely adorable and enjoyable all throughout which is quite rare. It maintained its humour til the very end! :) And can I just say that it's rare for me to love all the characters in a drama, even the supposed antagonists. It's a lovely, lovely drama.

It's an okay drama. I think I would have liked it better if I didn't watch basically all the episodes at once but I was super sick so I just laid on the couch and watched each one right after the other. No Eun Seol is my 2nd favorite Asian drama leading lady and my 1st favorite Korean drama leading lady.

Why do so many people drop this awesome Drama? Was I the only one in love and hypnotized by Choi Kang Hee's eyes?
