Ojakgyo Brothers may seem like an impossible task but its worth taking on I promise!

Story- The first couple episodes sets up the plot and storylines for everyone. I’d say it took me about 5 episodes before I saw myself wanting to see more. I do have to say the writers did a fantastic job. When the story was funny it was hilarious and when it was dramatic you felt the emotions. My favorite part of the writing though was definitely the subtle comedy. I found myself laughing like an idiot whenever something random happened. I liked that each brother had their own loveline and enjoyed watching each one develop. Although the UEE/Joo Won pairing was just too cute! In the end everyone gets their happy

I like the concept of this drama, it's like watching several dramas in the price of one. You get 2 major love stories, 2 smaller ones, some family drama, bromance, revenge, redemption and even a bit of action. The plot is so complex that you really can't get bored while watching. I really admire the writers for being able to intertwine so many stories together. Throughout the whole drama there are new characters appearing, some disappearing for many episodes to appear again and new connections are revealed. Even if you are able to predict the eventual outcome and some ideas are something you might have seen before, you really cannot predict when something new will be added. At some point I was a little bit worried read more

  • Both of them are family drama with lots of cute and funny scenes. They focuses more on romance between the leads than in other family dramas. The plots are great, the acting is superb; really well-known actors play in both dramas. I highly recommend these two dramas to anyone! ;D

  • starts with more or less the same situation of the mum not liking the girl but the two main leads always fight etc. there are no parts where you feel the storyline is getting boring in either drama even though there are so many episodes :D

I feel like watching this drama but uhm 58 episodes D: I can't even finish a 24-episode drama. :( Is this worth my time? Convince me, people who loves this drama!

Ordinary family drama, excellent pairing and cooperation of the main characters, but as it lacks more events or that there were fewer episodes would be a great drama. All characters are cute.

Sometimes I feel like watching this all over again for the amazing storyline of Tae-bum and Soo-young. Still one of my favourite kdrama OTPs :)

After having watched 43 episodes of this drama I decided to drop it. The first 10/15 episodes for me were not enjoyable (and I had been tempted to drop it even then) but I endured hoping that the plot would improve, which it did for a while, only to become unbearable again on the 43rd episode (with a lot of predictable angst to come on the next ones).

On the whole the acting was good and some twists and turns of the story were enjoyable but I found that some characters were way too dramatic and reacted with over the top unnecessary hysterical shouting and crying in many instances.

Joo Won is really good in this drama as always but I prefer to see him in dramas like Bridal Mask and 7th Grade Civil Servant.

there is something that doesn't make sense
how can they eat strawberries in the middle of winter ?
strawberries supposed to grow only in summer
    • HAVA-RAVA Feb 8, 2013
I haven't watched this but there are reasons:
      1. Strawberries can be grown here in Finland during summer outside and during winter inside a "glass house".
      2. They can be imported from other countries
      3. They can be pluck during summer and put in a freezer -> Which allows you to melt them and eat during winter.

I think I'm going start this drama back up again because of my Joo Won obsession. I have a feeling that this time around, I'll be so busy drooling over Joo Won that I'll forget why I stopped watching it in the first time around.
