Assistant Inspector Azumi Tsuyoshi (Sasaki Kuranosuke) is transferred to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police which is at the heart of criminal investigations. Azumi was prominent at his precinct, but is completely out of his league among the elite of the police headquarters.
