editSynopsis

Noodle House is a family drama which will be about a family that has been running a noodle house for three generations in the outskirts of Seoul. It will talk about the relations surrounding the family, tangled just like the noodles they work with every day. Eugene will act Min Chae Won, the first granddaughter of a noodle house family while Lee Jung Jin, fresh off his acclaimed turn in Pieta, will star as the seemingly cold but warmhearted Lee Se Yoon. Uhm Gi Ok will appear as a beautiful woman with a great body and a baby face. It may seem she′ll be popular with the men, but she′s so off-the-wall and never takes care of her looks that no one wants to see her. Min Hyo Dong is described as a slightly gruff man of few words who lost his wife 20 years ago and has been carrying after his mother and father-in-law like his own parents. Producer Joo Sung Woo of Love Cheer and Golden Fish will lead the drama, while scriptwriter Gu Hyun Sook of Indomitable Daughters-In-Law and Good For Choon Ja will write for it. Noodle House will air following the conclusion of May Queen in January.

If you plan to watch this show there are some things you need to know, first of all it is a Family drama (which is why it is so long) and if your like me you will probably skip everyone except for the main leads scenes, no one elses story affects the main couple except for her dad and the woman he falls for, otherwise everything else is irrelevant, so if you decide to skip you aren't going to miss anything important. overall I wouldn't watch the show again unless they made a shorter version just involving the lead couple....

I hate to write a review when I haven't watched EVERY second of every episode.... But I'd have to say this drama is at least worth a look-see or at LEAST a Dsk* for Lee Jung-Jin's smile alone. I also feel that Jung Bo-Suk and Jeon In-Hwa were really sweet.

In the beginning, I was truly intrigued by the main characters, but as the story unfolded the villain's scenes became insufferably long and irritating and the response from the ones who were wronged became unbelievable and unrealistic. How many times are you gonna say, "If you don't leave me alone, I'm gonna call the police.", before you actually CALL the police or get a restraining order, (if restraining orders exist in Korea)?

    I truly couldn't stomach

I've just finished watching this drama and honestly I'm glad it's over. If it wasn't for Lee Jung Jin I probably would have given upon it at the very beginning. It's very long, most of the time badly written and truthfully boring and predictable. I skipped quit a lot of parts because I got bored.
Still just because it didn't fit my taste doesn't mean other people won't like it. There are certainly funny parts in it as well.

The most frustrating drama ever. It starts off real good & then it went downhill. I felt like a fool because i watched all 50 episodes. I couldn't stop watching...I felt like the writers owed me a good ending after putting me through hell ( I kept hitting the pause button during episodes out of frustration). In the end i got screwed. Worst drama EVER!!!!

very nice drama, and a good acting to all the characters min chae- won and lee se- yeon have a nice chemistry together,,and all it so funny.. very advisable to watch to anyone it didn't waste your time..............only one thing disappoint me where Lee Se-Yeon lost his sense of taste i really hope that he will regain his sense of taste with Min Chae-Won by his side..and they love each other but it really didnt happen until to the last episode.. i didnt say this to discourage you to watch this.. it only keeps a mark in my mind that i want to erase...(ae-gooo0)...

This drama was irritating all the way through only to have a very unsatisfying ending. Put me in a bad mood the whole time I watched. Had to leave it before I came back just to find out what happened in the end. Skipped a lot of the scenes too.

I really liked this drama during the first eps, it was promising, but then it got more and more ridiculous and I droppped it after 32 episodes...this was drama was torture, I feel bad for the actors that they had to act in this badly written drama.

The ending was such a let down...All I could say, "that's it?" Then on the other hand, what did I expect from the long-winded story (24 ep would have hit the mark on this one). This 50ep series was stressful and overly twisted at several points due to writers just filling time & space. The reviews above & comments below kinda of sum up this LONG series - mediocre. The only redeeming & likeable role was Grandpa, and once he passed, so did the series. Would I watch again? NO; Any actors I want to follow - No; Will I get wound up in another 50ep baby? TBD; Is it worth your time:?????

Ending could have been a lot better (as in they could've ended it a few episodes earlier)...but I don't regret watching it. ^^

Hated the ending... felt like the last 4 episode were filled with fillers. Just so they can reach ep 50 were everything was "revolved' in the last 5 minutes... Don't get me wrong I don't mind cheesy endings, but this one is beyond cheesy.
