Jin Gu, as the Art Director prodigy Lee Tae-baek, will portray the rise of the ‘loser’ with no credentials to the top of the industry. Park Ha-sun will portray the role of the intern copywriter Baek Ji-yoon of the Geumsan Ad, the industry leader in Advertising. A passionate and earnest woman, she will lead the drama as the leading lady and the love interest of Jin Gu. Han Chae-young, as the Account Executive of the Geumsan Ad Go Ah-ri, is a chic and alluring woman of success on the outside, but a cold realist who abandoned her love and past to seek her dream on the inside. A producer of the drama commented that “the title’s ‘Genius’ does not mean talent, but rather the passion of the work enabling people to be the ‘Genius’ of the work. We plan the drama to be a drama depicting people’s challenge towards their dreams, their struggles, and a cheer towards our viewers’ efforts to their own dreams as well.”

If you want to watch a good story that is totally without one single kiss between the leads, this is one to watch. But if you are interested in a fairly decent story, this is worth watching. The cast was very good overall, I really can't complain about that. I was kind of disappointed that here you had two actors that had a decent chemistry together and besides a peck on the cheek, that was it. No holding hands, no hugs, nothing. ending was rushed in the usual KDrama fashion.

Eh at first I actually did like it. I really like how the main couple was really cute being just friends and all. I really respected the main male mc as well he was a bit stubborn and arrogant which I usually hate, but the thing that is different is his really nice to the girl and to people in general. When there is an arrogant male mc there usually a jack asss to everyone so this was refreshing for me.

Story wise I kinda like it at first, but as it carries on kinda gets boring with just a new ad after another.

Music- I felt the same song was overused over and over again.

Characters-The main male mc I did like at 1st as

I will not lie that the only part, in my opinion, was that marked the first statement of Tae Baek.... I cute design and declaration of "find the difference" (although it took her to realize what it was... Aiaia). And only! The drama is cool, but there was nothing that made me "swing".

    Very redundant story line

Ugh, I am so irritated with the main female lead right now - spineless, wimpy, blah. Annoying beyond belief.

Even if it sucks, Park Ha Sun is worth it!!
(I keep repeating that in my mind while watching it...over and over)

I dropped it after the 7th episode when I lost any hope that the main lead could become cool. Disappointing.

i want to watch this because of han chae young and jo hyun jae but I'm hesitating because they're the second leads and i kinda feel that chae young is bitchy here and she won't get a happy ending. should i still watch it?

i LOVED the dynamic of Tae Baek & Ji Yoon's relationship .. but how in the world does a romantic comedy not have at least one kiss between the main leads .. so disappointing. This was really the only flaw for me.

Second that. I took a long break after episode 13 really before I finally decided to finish it. Lee Tae Baek was really likeable & when I realized that Jin Goo was the one on ESP Couple (a very cute movie that I liked), I actually went to re-watch it.

Was that Choi Kang Hee in episode 3? Playing the role of the pregnant lady...

Personally, I loved this drama. It really rocked! It showed the real truth about the creative world and how talent and creativity can sometimes be squashed by purchasing power. Yet, it shows how a positive outcome can still happen. Loved the Jin Goo here; I have never watched anything with him. :D

    Absolutely loved the drama.
    INCREDIBLE cast.
I absolutely LOVED Tae Baek, such a inspiring character.
Park Haseon delivered a great job on acting yet again.
LOVED Ma Jin, it's time for more dramas to have more memorable characters like him.
the foreigner was also such a cool thing about this drama!
Storyline was interesting through the whole thing.
The actual admaking also played a big part in the drama (not just stupid fights between the mains).
Glad I got to see such a good drama.

I love that there finally is a drama that relates to my life actually. Well to my studies. Only dramas so far (that I've seen) which have related to my studies have been Suppli/Sapuri and Rich Man Poor Woman.

Watching ep 15 right now and WTF. They make Ji Yoon's father the biggest douche bag, KJ, co**blocking a**hole in the whole entire drama and THEN try to makes us feel bad for him because he was sick and dying?! WTF drama. Being sick does not excuse him selling off his daughter like that and if he only wanted to see his daughter marry before he dies why not marry her off to Tae Baek someone she ACTUALLY cares about?!

Sorry I just can't find the logic behind the chairman AT ALL. I know I should be used to it right seeing all kinds of shitty in-laws in kdramas but this is ridiculous. If you're going to paint him as this evil jerk in the entire drama then go all the way instead of being half-assed about it. Cause as a viewer, I feel like they're treating me like an idiot if they think I'd actually buy this redemption crap.
