I just finished watching this drama like 2 minutes ago. A lot of people didn't like the ending, but I did. I couldn't think of other ways to end it. This drama, I really enjoyed it because it's not only revenge, but you learn about other things along the way. Well you will need to watch it to know what I mean. This was a good drama in my opinion and I would watch it again, but not a for a while because then if I watch it a right away it will lose it meaning. So maybe in a few years or so. There were some part that was draggy, but overall it was a good drama. But I wish they would focus more on read more

Make a Recommendation More recs.Recommendations

  • Both are revenge stories, though their reasons are different. Each man has a woman he loves and wants to protect but revenge gets in the way of it. Shark is darker than City Hunter though.

  • My previous recommendation was for the wrong city hunter. I can't delete it. So I am re-posting. Shark is darker than city hunter, but both are revenge stories that conflict with there romantic lives.

hate endings which are not the end, especially when everything indicates the worst... still, this is a very, very good drama...

I'm on ep 14, and the storyline is pretty intense... Btw, is there any dress code in Korean legal institutions? I mean, how can anyone take seriously a prosecutor in a tiny little shorts...

Soo Hyun was the best to be quite honest.

This the drama worth watching? I know the ending so that's ok :)
    • DBSK Feb 21, 2014
It is in my opinion. The ending wasn't everyone's piece of cake, but to me it was more of an open ending so I was fine with it. The drama itself is quite good, but I wouldn't say that it's a master piece. The female lead might be annoying at times, but there is definitely suspense there.

Is it me or does dongsoo in this drama look a wee bit like BTOB's Eunkwang? HEHE <3 anyway this was a great show! i don't like sad endings but I still enjoyed the show, anticipating the next episode every time! Lots of fangirling cuz of Kim Nam Gil (quite obviously, if you haven't watched his shows but only seen his photos you may not think he's so handsome but he actually really is, and kisses well too<3), Lee Soo Hyuk and Ha Suk Jin! Omg Detective Kim and Inhye were really cute together :)

i gave this a 7 instead of a 9 or 10 like I would have if the last episode didn't suck so much. they added so much stuff that was pointless. (why didnt they use the sick sister plot way early in the series. they introduced it early on but waited for the last 15 mins of the series to use it, that felt so out of left field to me.) also they didn't show us an ending for anyone. normally an open ending doesn't bug me if its for 1 or 2 plot points but this show left pretty much everything open besides grandpa jo going to jail. what were yi soo and hae woo going to say, what about hae woo and her husband, what about his father, what about the romance between soo hyun and the sister, what about the secretary and yi soo's adoptive dad (forgot his name already) why did he want revenge and if its pretty clear he loved yi soo why did yi soo threaten him that was a little weird.

also its heavily implied that yi soo dies but they don't show him flatline during surgery, they don't show a funeral, dont show spreading of ashes and they dont show what happens to his sister or friends after. if they were going to kill him id have liked to see what happens to everyone after and proof that he was actually dead not a "he can breath now" and a clock starting again, cause both those can be interpreted in different ways and it leaves it pretty open. and if they were leaving it up to the viewer to decide if he lives or not they should have finished the series on him in the operating room not on her in the ocean cause that way people would be left guessing.

IKR! There's many things left unaswered.I also give this 7..These days revenge dramas are always with the lead guy ended up dead..This must be a trend haha

I just finished this drama and it's really a breath taking one !! the ending was sad and made me cry i didn't like it much ( cause i don't like sad endings ) but still this drama is really worth watching !!

That was the drama that made ??me lose the breath from beginning to end. Very good! It happened so much in a few episodes I was crazy thinking "Oh God there are still eleven episodes to the end!" (things like that) Not only fell in love with the characters (Incidentally, Ha Suk Jin, lovely, if nobody wants you, I want you! LOL) but also ended up loving the soundtrack. Combining more than perfect!

hey you guys.. i only saw bits of pieces from this drama and i was wondering how this compared the bad guy. Whenever i see Kim Nam Gil I keep thinking of his role in bad guy and that drama was a disaster. I just want to know if this drama is any better.
    • RisingSun Sep 4, 2013
To be honest I liked Bad Guy more... This one is good, but to me it was a bit boring from time to time...
