    1) The reason I watched this:

I have a psychiatrist friend who insisted on watching this film. She already knows that I don't mind any sort of special story no matter how horrific it is; I was fully prepared to any type of scenes and so I watched it.

    2) Storyline/Plot:

They weren't kidding when they said "This movie contains EXTREMELY graphic child abuse! Do not watch if you are easily disturbed.", I intentionally repeated it because this film isn't directed to all types of audience, even if you are an adult you can easily be disturbed.

    Positive points:

*It's a true story that focus on a world wide issue: a great topic.
*The producer wasn't afraid of showing the horrible fact to the audience.
    *The

I came into this film knowing what it was going to be about, but nothing could have prepared me for the impact of watching The Crucible. It was dark, violent, and quite honestly nauseating. I was on the verge of tears for nearly an hour and when the 1h36 mark hit, I had to pause the movie and did nothing but cry for the children. To think, this is real. This happened to these kids. When I hit play, from that moment on, tears were falling.

I will probably never be able to watch this movie again, but it is something you honestly must see. Yes, the images are disturbing. Yes, you will feel anger, sadness, and numbness, but this movie leaves an impression. The acting

Oh My God. My faith in humanity shattered after watching this movie. I can't believe anyone can live on doing the things those terrible guys did. How do you live with yourself after doing such terrible things to innocent children??

To be honest, this was my first time watching a korean movie, since its first on the MDL movie list, i said that i'd give it a shot. And before i started playing it, i thought that it'd be medicore at best... Seriously, i can't put into words the emotional punch this movie gave, it was just so...!!! I loved it, heck i think its one of the best movies i've seen for a VERY long time!! I'm a novice when it comes to drama's, but i can truthfully say that this was a masterpiece.

So my friend had recommend me to watch this like two months ago ? and I finally took the time today to watch it and all I can say is WOW. I was pretty sad how the kids were mistreated badly. I feel like I would understand what they were going through in somewhat way but I don't. Sad how the movie is based on a true story in Korea. Disturbing movie. The rapists still didn't learn their lesson after the court case.

This movie. Saddest Korean movie I have ever seen. Disturbing yet heartbreaking. Only movie that could make me cry throughout the whole thing. I want to applaud the kids in this movie. They did such a excellent job, not just the acting but signing as well. I thank Gong Yoo for making this movie happen. My prayers go out to all the children suffering from any kind of abuse around the world.

One thing i don't understand is that why did they have to show all them scenes again when the children were explaining we understood but by showing it made me feel triple worse, these young actors were amazing i wonder how they found acting in this type of movie. The most shocking fact is that something like this truly happened in reality and no one even cared about it. This movie made me cry so much i can't even think of being in their shoes must have been living hell, wish i could adopt these children myself but i'm still young myself.

I commend Gong Yoo for being the one to actually bring this into movie form. If it was not for Gong Yoo reading the book and seeking out the author this movie wouldn't have been made and the happens of the true events might not have been known to people. This is a horrible happening that should be known to people everywhere.
