I wasn't really expecting anything going into Architecture 101 just because i didnt think a movie about building a house would seem that interesting. However, there was more to it...

First, the plot was a calm one with the building of a house and reconnection of the main characters being the focal point of the present story line. The past storyline gives us important info on how the main characters met(as friends) and what were the events that led to their separation (still friends at that point). I really did like the story until the ending. The ending just didn't work for me but i guess you could say it was a realistic one.

Second, I thought this was well casted. UTW & HGI played thier

Actually I'm disappointed in this movie, as it left me with an empty feeling, which movies like this, even if they end the way this movie ended should not leave the viewer, in my opinion.
Fist of all, I did not get into this little history of life of the characters fully, as it was too cropped and didn't give enough depth. Then I didn't come to like ANY of the main characters, the younger version of the guy is shy and silent... but hey, he presents himself a total looser all the time! I couldn't believe his actions as a man in love, giving up on the girl he loved so dearly, and at the situation he did it, it was the most awful part,

A sad, beautiful movie with a realistic ending. I really liked Suzy in this movie and Lee Je Hoon

Although the story is heartbreaking in the end, I thought it was still so beautiful to me. Most first loves had no chance of clearing out unsaid feelings and such so this makes it up to it.At least until the end, their first love was meaningful and inspiring.

I love the movie. It is a beautiful story of life. But this story deserves a deeper view, a little more feeling. Everything is nostalgic and a little sad but not to sad. I watch it till the end and I couldn't believe that it's done when I was expected to begin the real story. The main characters feel a little frustration about their lost and unknown love but they are not to deep moved by this. The ending comes natural and predictible. But this movie makes me wonder if most man including the married ones hide a love story like this. The main character did what he supose to do. He couldn't live his future wife just for the sake of the past. The past is the past and the fact that in the begining he didn't recognize her tells everything. What I really like in this movie are the landscapes and the house that is also my dream house. I love it.

I am not sure whether the ending is sad or happy, I mean the girl's face expression wasn't so assuring to me...

I think I'll watch in cinema since I think it will be on cinema later. Is this worth it ? Many people think the ending is bad ? ._.

a realistic exploration of a bittersweet first young love, full of misunderstanding and missed timings, then an adult version of forced confessions that was just a little bit too late. i'd say the adult's version wasn't much in the performance department given that it was really more of a first love's development.

To be honest until like the last 20 minutes I didn't want Seung Min and Seo Yeon to be together. I thought the girl was just using him and stringing him along. But the thing that frustrated me the most was that Seo Yeon was obviously rejecting his friend's attempts to kiss her, but Seung Min goes ahead and assumes they did something together anyways. I might one of the few people who liked the ending. Sure I would have loved it if it was one of those dramatic endings where they run to each other at the airport and kiss, but this ending was fine too. It signifies how they've let go of the past and their first loves. All those feelings of unknowing from the past are gone. The loose ends have been tied and they can both move on now. Good movie, it was just a bit too slow for me.

    The movie was great
... until the point i got to know that he has a fiance - from this point on onwards i just hoped he'd tell her that he still likes his first love
... the moment the movie ended i thought: "so where's the end?"
I seriously thought that in the last two minutes a short sequel would come where he's happily living together with seo yeon her father and his mother on jeju island..." happy end...

The ending left me wanting more like maybe his marriage didn't work out or something like that. I guess they kept that one night to themselves when they both confessed. It was an okay movie though.
