Why, of why did I read Violet's review? I had somehow fallen into a sort of quiet limbo regarding my favourite actor and almost forgotten about this movie accordingly, when I read her review, ran to watch the movie myself - talk about patience - and was instantly thrown into my most familiar obsession: Hyun Bin.

My bad. To top it all, I agree with her: this movie is beautiful. I know this is a remake of an older Korean movie with the same title which I haven't seen, but from the start it reminded me a lot of the american/french film "Before Sunrise", with the two leads carving out for themselves a tiny bubble in space and time, far from their present lives and the

An outstanding movie, actually. Why I didn't give it a 10? Only and only because of the colors... I'll explain. The movie is full of symbolism, most of the time very clear and eye catching... and absolutely fitting. My only complain is, that the director tried too hard with grey colors to make the characters seem more lonely and lost. The only 3 sparks of color were when Anna wore that gorgeous red lipstick and the green dress, the dance of the unknown couple (by the way, this scene is mind blowing and breath taking, silent, and at the same time telling so many-many things)and, of course, the kiss... it was a firework of colors, like the sky suddenly became so bright with sun, you couldn't read more

i love the storyline its poignant and subdued, yes great acting need not be too vocal, loud nor flamboyant, moods can be conveyed thru silence, just body language the eyes can express happiness and sadness, this is one movie that does just that . . .

This is "my type" of movies. The moment I read i amrita828 review that its similar to "before sunrise", I knew that im going to fall in love with it, and I sure heavily did. IT IS SURE A ONE GREAT MOVIE!

I liked the use of colours, isn't it strange how sometimes a person we just meet accidentally and such an unlikely person too becomes closer and cares more than family? It was lyrical. Here too the silences are extremely loud. Beautiful reviews by Amrita and Violet.

I was in Berlin at the film festival last year, and managed to get some friends with me to watch it. They really liked it! (Me too, but I was disappointed I didn't get to see Hyun Bin >___< He was in Berlin because of another movie .___. I think.)

But I highly recommend it if you're into movies that isn't all action or/and comedy. It's a really good movie! (Coming from a girl who doesn't like Korean movies)

No he's not there. She knows he is in prison because she watched him get arrested. That was my personal take on it. Though, she had wishful thinking that maybe, just maybe he would be there.

I fully agree with you. I also thought, that he was in prison, as I wrote on June 30th, 2012. So I don't understand the point of our arguing :)

Um....sorry I don't go through and read all the responses sometimes, I just responded to the original. Sorry if I accidently hit reply on yours and not the other. I guess I could have done that without realizing it. Otherwise I didn't realize this was a contest and that I it would be considered arguing because I answered a question. My bad.

Oh.. it's not a problem at all :) Just a little misunderstanding :)
