She finally made her debut in 2012 as the main rapper, main dancer and lead vocalist HELLO VENUS and their 1st EP "Venus". The group was a project by Tricell Media (formerly a joint venture between Pledis Entertainment and Fantagio). In 2014, Tricell Media ended operations and she remained part of Fantagio. The group underwent a lineup change soon after, and despite some collaborations and comebacks, it never managed to find much success. In 2019, the group officially disbanded after their contracts expired.
In 2021, she decided to remain in Fantagio under the stage name Cha Ju Hwa. In 2022, she announced her marriage to a businessman approximately 10-years older. On May 10, 2023 she announced that she was expecting her first child.
