Kim Ji Soo
- Name: Kim Ji Soo
- Native name: 김지수
- Given name: Kim Ji Soo
- Also Known as: Kim Ji Su, Jisoo
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: March 30, 1993
- Age: 31
In elementary school, Ji Soo was a judo athlete and competed at the national level before giving it up due to injuries.
Ji Soo received surgery for acute osteomyelitis (inflammation of bone or bone marrow, usually due to infection) on 13 September 2016.
In 2021, Ji Soo was cast as the male lead role in the Korean drama "River Where the Moon Rise"s. He starred in the drama for six aired episodes until reported school bullying and assault accusations were made against him. As a result, he was removed from the show, and KBS replaced Ji Soo, re-casting the role by actor Na In Woo, who then appeared from episode nine onward of the drama.
In March 2021, Ji Soo was accused of having been a perpetrator of school violence in middle school. Through a handwritten letter, he admitted the allegations of school violence and apologized. Ji Soo only admitted the school violence accusations. There were also some accusations of sexual violence with coercion, but KeyEast Entertainment released a statement denying those claims.
In May 2021, the legal representative of Ji Soo released a statement announcing that they were taking legal action against the people who made false accusations and spread false rumors including those accusing him of sexual offense allegations.
On May 27, 2021, Ji Soo's agency KeyEast announced that his exclusive contract with the agency had been terminated due to the controversy.
On July 6, 2021, the law firm issued a new statement explaining that the creator of a post accusing Ji Soo of sexual assault had admitted to the post being false and apologized.
He enlisted in October 2021 and was assigned to the social worker department.
