I found this lakorn enjoyable, there were parts that were annoying some parts that were cliche but what I enjoyed in this lakorn was how they touched on all the problems that were instigated in the beginning. (what I mean is that elements that were put in the beginning in the lakorn were used and were resolved, they weren't just things that would be forgotten or pushed aside)

When it came to the cast we have an ill-tempered prang'ek. I liked how he doesn't get easily persuaded by the niang'rak (the evil girl, etc) but i felt that his trait of being ill-tempered got pushed too far during the last few episodes of the lakorn, BUT I'm sure the writers had their reason to give him this trait because fits into a plot line ("to have a flaw but be able to push pass it etc.")
The niang'ek was unlike-able in the beginning of the lakorn but i feel that you may grow to like her because she doesn't cower to the niang'rak. It's one of those storyline with a rich girl turn poor who now has to work, but her attitude wasn't as bad compare to other lakorns with similar plot lines.

I'm trying to be very broad about the lakorn, so overall just an overview, watch the lakorn if you'll like. It's not the best nor was it the worse. They did some justice to each characters and you'll be faced with scenarios that are commonly seen but you'll come to enjoy the lakorn because the niang'ek isn't weak, the 2nd male lead just makes you feel bad for him yet love him at the same time, the prang'ek's character could be worked on but eh you'll get over it. Compare to other lakorn this one was on the better side. (except the ending lol I wasn't that in love with the last few episodes but it's your own call lol :))

Honestly I grew up watching this lakorn as a kid and in my opinion I loved it, but after re-watching it now today I found it understandable how others may not like it. BUT I just want to tell that this lakorn follows all the cliche scenes you would see in other lakorns. You have the evil ex-girlfriend, the obsessive annoying ex-boyfriend, and then more evil characters. Then you have the pran'ek and niang'ek who goes through a lot of misunderstandings but in the end, you get your anticipated ending. There are sweet scenes, angering scenes, sad scenes, but this is what makes it a lakorn. This lakorn is worth the watch even though it may be a bit old cause it's in 2006 but you know what if some parts are boring just fast-forward and watch those better scenes lol. When i say better scenes i'm talking about the lovey-dovey interactions between the lead characters and the scenes when the niang'ek kickass (which is rarely but oh well)

I don't know how helpful my review was but this is just my opinion its up to you if you want to watch it or not. But if you do watch it I hope you enjoy it :) and that it does't disappoint much.

The storyline follows as was stated from the summary and were not given a bunch of unnecessary plot lines or problems. But aside from the storyline what I really enjoyed the most were the characters, both the main leads and the supporting characters.

Our niang'ek Baipei's character is different as she plays a tomboy. She's hotheaded, impulsive, yet she's also understanding. I enjoyed seeing her act impulsively and her little tricks but at time her character does get annoying towards the 2nd half of the lakorn. Whereas our Pran'ek is a mafia boss who wants to quit the mafia industry. We see his struggle and his poor decisions on that topic but aside from that his character is both charming and cute especially when he plays tricks on the niang'ek. It's nice to see how at time he tries to be direct with her so there isn't any miscommunication or misunderstanding. And another thing he's an obsessive brother who indirectly shelters/protects his sister.

Which goes on to our supporting character, who I ENJOYED the most in this lakorn. We have Fon (younger sister of the Pran'ek) and Mark (best friend with our niang'ek). I love these two character the most, especially Mark because he is everything, charming, understanding, mature, full of love. I love how he always works towards making Fon not misunderstand him and how he doesn't give up easily on loving/getting Fon.
Fon on the other hand, you kind of don't like her in the beginning but you come to love her as you see a growth in her character. I love how she works toward matchmaking our pran'ek and niang'ek together and also how she has Mark wrapped around her hands.

Next is our Niang'Rai--Nararee. Usually I hate these character as they're evil with lots of evil tricks up their sleeves BUT i have to say I loved her role as she's not the unbearable crazy niang'rai that we usually see in lakorn.

Sorry if I talked mostly about the characters but it was because they were what made the lakorn enjoyable. In this lakorn you get a very direct storyline, (meaning we will NOT be faced with unnecessary weird plot lines of a sudden amnesia or any other twist and turns) but we do get our typical misunderstandings, the poor decisions, getting injured, the evil schemes, miscommunication with one another, the hating then the loving back and forth thing. I'm trying to be very broad here as to not reveal any specific plots.

But personally for me what I enjoyed most from the lakorn were the supporting characters, especially Mark :)

The lakorn is mediocre, first the storyline is typical and follows through. There's the mafia boss from Hong Kong, falls in love with the girl, abducts her, but more like her father used her as a collateral to get money so.. etc. etc. Of course we get the typical plots of misunderstandings, lots of going back in forth between the actual lover and the ex-lover, and lots of scheming between the evil people.

The characters- the pran'ek has the typical mafia guy traits, he's lovable, playful, gets blinded from the truth, sometimes he's rough, etc. I hated how like other pran'ek it's so hard for them to just cut off the evil lady from their life, like OMG it's either ""responsibility or love"", HATED it so much

The niang'ek---her character is pretty much similar to other niang'ek characters that you see in a ""Mafia/Kidnapping lakorns"" The only thing that I enjoyed from her character is that she had one likable trait. She can be tough in some situations. She argues, retaliates, and beats up the nang'rak. It's just enjoyable to see how she doesn't back down from the evil ladies or whoever that messes with her, but when it comes to the pran'ek she's like weak to him.

Of course as we get near the end of the lakorn you'll come to notice the niang'ek just becomes so weak and annoying (just my opinion)

Overall there are cute scenes here and there, enjoyable scenes, etc. It's not that bad of a lakorn nor was it the best. I would recommend watching it and fast skipping over the boring parts LOL.

I Really found this unnecessary so as I got to the last episode, like really this is the last episode yet they just really had to plug in the "memory loss" plot line into it. Like OMG I found that soooo unnecessary

I went into this lakorn hoping for a badass female lead, although in the beginning she was bratty and obnoxious I had this little hope like "okay her character will began to redeem itself a little, hopefully?". But I was disappointed, her character was only weak, simple, and had her go-to trait a brat. We do see some bit of change around episode 6-7 but I felt that it wasn't sufficient.

I am not that in love with the male lead, he had those similar characteristics as what you'll see from other lakorn, he cares for the niang'ek, "helps" her from behind the scene, la-di-da-di-da but I did;t feel touch like I would with other lakorns. The lakorn did not do any justice of romance. I wouldn't blame the actors and actress, it's kind of like the storyline/the way it was directed, there was no sense/a drive to convey of a love connections between the two leading actors, and even if there was one I felt that it was weak and wasn't able to fully relay those feelings of love between the characters.

I tried to do as other comments said, to finished before reviewing, and I did finished, after skipping through a lot of parts because it frustrated me so much. I'm suppose to fall in love with the storyline, the lead characters, but what this drama left me was disappointment. 6 episodes into the drama and I felt that the true plot hasn't even happened, it was a real dragger. I felt no sympathy for the male lead, and I hated how weak the niang'ek was. No love connection could be felt at all that's why I didn't even have a sense of wanting to root for the two lead actors to end up together. It didn't create the feels I would usually expect when watching lakorns.

This is just my opinion I'm sorry if it was so long, but Dang IT! I just had to comment an opinion because this frustration at this LAKORN, ARGHHH!!! lol I was hoping for so much more but... the disappointment was real (not at the actors but more towards the storyline, i wanted a bigger development)
