Freeze Me is an uncensored look into how disgusting and revolting rape is through the victim's, Chihiro's, eyes. While Freeze Me is very graphic, it is not overdone to show the audience that rape is very bad. One by one, her rapists track her down to assault her all over again. Deeply ashamed, Chihiro accepts the situation at first, but she eventually fights back killing each of them. She orders industrial freezers to keep their bodies in from decomposing in her apartment. This becomes a central sign Chihiro becomes increasingly erratic. She talks and eats dinner and basically lives with her 3 now dead rapists. As Chihiro becomes erratic, she loses more and more touch with reality. Freeze Me takes a morbid turn due to this leading to sad endings for everyone involved. I wish Chihiro received a happy ending, but I get why she became insane. Like most rape victims, she bears a heavy self inflicted shame for most of the movie. Freeze Me examines this perspective very thoughtfully. One important scene was about Chihiro asking God if she will be forgiven for everything.
