When I first saw the trailers and who was in it, I didn't really give it a second thought. I didn't recognize anyone in the cast and I remember thinking that the guy looked weird in the mask. So I skipped it and just had it in the back of my mind. I finally watched it and all I have to say is, why in the world are you still reading this review! Go watch it! Now!
It has a great cast and Joo Won and Park Ki Woong are amazing in it. The story is interesting but different, since it is set in the 1930's, so you get a different part of Korea's history and there is a modern-saeguk feel to it. The music is exciting and upbeat, plus you get to hear some 1930's music in there, if you like that type of music.
I am totally going to rewatch this! Truth be told, I have already moved on to another drama, but I still occasionally go online just to rewatch my favorite scenes or to listen to the OST. It is a really great drama.

This drama was great! I loved seeing these 40 year olds act like mature men and then change to 18 year olds in the blink of an eye.

The story was interesting and I will admit that when I started the first episode, I thought to myself, "What am I watching?", but that soon changed, since it made me laugh so much. I definitely don't regret watching this.

It's hilarious and there will be moments of laughing mixed with moments of sweetness and romance. There are parts where I yelled at the screen (like they could hear me) when the drama wasn't going the way I wanted it, but thankfully any problems that the characters had was resolved within a few episodes and wasn't drawn out. I loved this and it allowed for more cuteness to happen.

So, I would recommend this drama to everybody.

Oh my goodness, what can I say about this drama except that it was amazing!!! And can you believe that I didn't even plan on watching it in the first place. Man, I am so glad I gave it a try and if you are considering watching this drama, you should give it a try too. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. This drama has everything! An interesting plot filled with action, romance, and suspense, plus it has great characters and an amazing soundtrack. For me, I love anything that can blend, romance and action together perfectly and not have me sitting there full of angst and feeling the need to yell at the heroes and villains. So I know I gave it tens across the board, but I truly felt this way since it accomplished exactly what I wanted in a show.

Not once did I feel that there were parts that it was lagging and I felt each episode helped to push the story along. The action scenes were cool, but the show wasn't just fight scenes, there were cute scenes that had me giggling and cheering for my OTP, as well as funny scenes that helped to lighten the mood.

The choice in actors/actresses was perfect. The couple had amazing chemistry and they were so great together. Ji Chang Wook now has a new fan because of this and Park Min Young was a total cutie.

I loved the soundtrack! There was one song that they played whenever the couple was having a sweet moment (watch it and you will know what song) and because of it I now associate sweet romance with this song.

Rewatch it? Um, of course! I will totally rewatch this.

Overall, this is now my favorite drama. After the ending of each episode I just wanted more. It perfectly mixed action and suspense with cuteness and romance. It had everything that I loved and I am so glad I gave it a shot.

I had already seen My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and so I thought it was interesting that Lee Seung Gi was in another drama about a gumiho. So this was one of the reasons I watched it.

Let me just say that Gu Family Book is AMAZING! The story was interesting and had me instantly hooked and the OST is beautiful. The romance was adorable and made me happy.

I understand that people didn't really like it, but to each his own. I personally loved it and I definitely will want to see it again.

I personally loved this drama, and it has quickly become one of my favorites.

This is a story about a bunch of young guys who have to learn about growing up, friendship, and romance. It may sound like your typical drama, but let me say that it is not! The story and the characters felt realistic and I felt like I could empathize with them. The story didn't feel rushed and I didn't feel like any of the plot lines were quickly wrapped up or given a shoddy ending.

The characters in this drama were likeable and I honestly believe they picked a great bunch of guys for the main roles. There is romance for all of those people who like it, but the main point about this drama was the bromance. I personally love romantic dramas, but I truly looked forward to when all/any of the boys got together.

Since it is about a rock band there are like two songs they play again and again, but they are actually very catchy. Also, I believe they only played them whenever the band was actually playing that song, so it wasn’t like at every moment they played the same song. The music had me wishing that they were an actual band so they could make more songs together.

I would/will totally rewatch this drama. It left with me with a good feeling, and it had a nice message in the end.
