I started this drama with no expectations, I was very impressed with the writer’s ability to maintain such thrilling moments and cliff hanger endings all the way to the final act. Each character felt like a key player in the story no matter how minor their role, when they had their moment on screen you are waiting for them to take action against the Cult. As the conflict and pressure to save Sang Mi became the focal point and as the title describes “Save Me” the boys from her brief past in what was her new high school, rise up to the occasion. There are many unlikeable characters scattered throughout this drama that may really make a viewer frustrated and anxious to see the good guys appear and use their smarts in this game of Religious Cult vs. Normal citizens who can see through the facade of the Cult's conman ways. This is not a romance drama, but there is a strong sense of friendship, and just how strong a child’s love for their parent can be is theme throughout but sadly also mixed with a theme of betrayals by parents you trust.

I watched this drama and kept waiting and hoping it would get better. I was sadly disappointed with the story direction which just went in circles for the leads. I found it a dysfunctional mess from start to finish, so could not really recommend it to anyone. The characters did not really develop much so that was then only consistent element in the story. Character life lessons to learn, were poorly approached and not handled well. Any glimmer of potential break through developments were weakly implemented or obscurely approached, so the cast were often in odd situations that were just cringe worthy.  The plot was really muddled and even the supporting characters storylines were not strong or that compelling.

I adore school setting dramas, and those that take the characters onward into young adult life.
The melo pacing of this drama is a consistent theme throughout but after the first 6 episodes you get used to it. Sadly the majority of the plot is mix of repeated sad and devastating occurrences for all the characters, no one escapes. And it really can make you frustrated when nothing good happens for your favourite characters. The ending was left open, and after 46 episodes it did not have a satisfying end for the main leads. The cast is strong, and with really good performances. But because there felt like a lack of closure not only for the leads but some side characters also, I could only hope there will be a drama special for it. But if not, I would not recommend this drama for romance fans.

I try to be fairly open minded when approaching dramas, but the trailer made me really nervous to watch this. Something about female lead is instantly not likeable, maybe it's a lack of feeling of genuine personality or an overworked trope she has to portray. Her movement exaggerations seem very over performed rather than a natural action carried out. Her Korean lines sounded better than her lines delivered in English which fell very flat and sound very 'read'. The fact that a woman her age cannot figure out how to fold clothes into a bag was a final straw for me...I mean it's not rocket science. The only thing she seems good at is getting drunk. They should have cast a sassy girl who is excellent at improv like Megan Bowen (youtube). Somehow the story didn't really pull together overall so it might leave you annoyed and unsatisfied. Poor male actors did what they could with what they were given to work with, they tried  but they just couldn't sell it!
For drama with non-Asian lead, I suggest Tamra the Island.

This was a really beautiful and sad drama. The moments captured and shown seemed really heartfelt so great job by the director, writer and cast. 2nd male lead with same name as male lead really played up the dramatic factor for female lead, I even found myself wavering of who I liked better through the flashback memories and then the present situations. Although it was not a romantic competition by any means or rivalry, 2nd male lead seemed like the right fit despite sharing the same name. Because this is so short, it would be easy to re-watch. I really liked it!

This film was pretty bad in way of poorly executed story. The leads are attractive looking, yes. However male lead was too aggressive in his manners, the way he physically handled female lead in terms off grabbing her and forced kisses throughout the story. There was no usual 'determined wrist grab' type deal here that is a quirky affectionate gesture in other dramas/films. He literally restrains her so forcefully in almost every scene they have together. It's not cute or heart fluttering. Female lead seemed so weak in her own defense and manners. Her 'trying to be cute' was very annoying. Waste of time. Don't recommend

The gang of female cast are hilarious it's unfortunate that they all dated the same guy and got taken. Even more so that his twin brother shows up and they have to confirm that he is indeed a twin. I wasn't super enthused about the circumstances leading to main female lead and male character coming together because cheaters suck. That aside there was plenty of flirty scenes and a little love-hate relationship to build up chemistry and tension between them. I would watch this one again these sassy girls are awesome!

I've never had 2nd lead syndrome so bad as I did with this Drama. The main OTP had their share of issues but how fun to have a reset in the past when they go back. The writer did a nice job spreading out their 2nd chance at love, also with them trying to help out their friends in the past as well was a nice touch. The story seemed short but not rushed with it only being 12 episodes a few more would have been nice. They did wrap things up nicely with a satisfying ending. I don't know if I would rewatch this whole drama again as some stories seem to only merit a one time watch once the story climax wraps up. But Nam Gil steals this show so much, I would rewatch his scenes for sure! This will be so easy to binge watch! Enjoy

It left me with mixed feelings overall. The concept of a character in the past time traveling to the future is a really cool story idea. However this story is so easily and painfully predictable, it can feel boring and in certain spots repetitive. The cast is strong so I think fans of crime/suspense dramas will really enjoy this drama.
As for myself, a one time watch is more than enough.

Strong and interesting start to this drama, female lead has many admirable traits. Other characters are wacky and the storyline keeps you guessing for awhile and surprised on every episode ending. Half way through and toward finale episodes I didn't know what to expect, but it's like the writer had no more direction or ideas.  I really liked the concept of the story early on because of strong female lead. But I would definitely not add this one to my rewatch list. I feel like there were still issues that needed to be resolved, for the outlandish situations in the beginning episodes. They could have done something really great with the final episodes but I found the story fell really flat after such an interesting opening plot line.

Time Travel drama with a second chance at romance is a great story theme. I really enjoyed the first 6 episodes. However I found the story direction kind of fell apart after episode 10. The characters are well played by the cast and there is a lot of enthusiasm and strong values of friendships depicted in this drama. But for my own reasons of wishing for alternate romantic pairings, and that the ending leaves me with a dissatisfied feeling about this drama overall. I wouldn't watch it again.

Sometimes less is more and this wrapped up nicely in 8 little episodes. While some characters lacked in the beginning they definitely grew and flourished as the drama progressed. Coming of age and first love is a solid theme throughough, it has a satisfying ending for a short drama. There are some moments here I would definitely watch again, mainly all the moments between Young Choon and Hye Joo. This drama is a cute little throwback to the late 70s almost reminded me of the Reply series in some moments. Enjoy

I'm really sad there are no more episodes for this! Pacing was fantastic throughout, without giving too much away it is satisfying to follow characters who get their resolves especially in an epic manner.
But then Dramas like this really make me wonder about actual legal and justice systems in the world, and how much corruption takes place while justice fails to be served. This cast really amps it up to make the much needed changes when the law won't. The OST is one of the best I've heard this year in a drama series so far it does not disappoint. I would have liked to see some character moments at the end there but it was a wrap!
Rewatch Value I rate 3.5 because I find stories like these are often a one time watch, especially when intrigue and mystery are involved. It's not as gripping the 2nd time around but there might be some moments worth checking out again. The episodes are short enough length you can binge watch this so fast now! Enjoy

Explorations of what could have/would have been down life path A or life path B for Ru Wei. At times confusing, with time jumps forward, then the quick go back in time segments and alternating between A and B storylines. It gives a realistic perspective on love and the heavy sidelines of marriage while supporting extended family with multiple issues vs. a freely independent career as personal choice over marriage. Overall I wasn’t keen on the story upon finishing the whole thing, but can appreciate the perspectives the female lead presented in both life plans. It's just a handful of episodes, so does not take up too much time if you find it interesting and want to check it out.

Visually I liked the attraction and chemistry between the leads in the beginning the love-hate was cute to watch, however male lead's performance could have been stronger. I did not like the repetitive loop of female lead's confusion of her feelings that got annoying fast. I feel like she caused the guys who liked her to suffer unnecessarily. I wouldn't watch this again
