I hate to write a review when I haven't watched EVERY second of every episode.... But I'd have to say this drama is at least worth a look-see or at LEAST a Dsk* for Lee Jung-Jin's smile alone. I also feel that Jung Bo-Suk and Jeon In-Hwa were really sweet.

In the beginning, I was truly intrigued by the main characters, but as the story unfolded the villain's scenes became insufferably long and irritating and the response from the ones who were wronged became unbelievable and unrealistic. How many times are you gonna say, "If you don't leave me alone, I'm gonna call the police.", before you actually CALL the police or get a restraining order, (if restraining orders exist in Korea)?

I truly couldn't stomach much more than 40 some episodes before I started Dsking*. I think I started suffering at about 28 episodes.

Cut in half and tying up loose ends would have really made this SO much better!

*Dsk/Dsking - My words for when you've watched enough of the drama to be know the gist of the story, but fast-forward through long drawn-out crying, wailing, reflective and unnecessary back-flashes, ridiculous screaming/fighting scenes or irrelevant and irritating side plots because you can't stomach it. OR in extreme instances skip to the last episode. LOL...

I'm a firm believer in the fact that if you expect too much you can easily be disappointed. So in this light, I write this review... Please finish reading so you don't get the wrong idea.

The beginning of the first episode was a little sloppy and the characters were not at all endearing or interesting so I actually stopped watching this a long time ago then recently gave it another chance. I'm glad I did. Just push through... the story is worth it.

As many others have written... The child and teen actors REALLY nailed it! The casting for the most important adult roles was quite disappointing with the exception of Kim Min-Seo and Yoon Seung-Ah. I also felt that the chemistry that was SO present in the teen characters was lacking in the adults. Try not to be too disappointed. I wish they could have just tried to age the teens as they were amazing. I feel that Yoon Seung-Ah would have been a better choice for the adult female lead and Lee Min Ho would have ROCKED as the adult male lead. Their looks are also closer to the teen leads.

So all in all great story but because of the lack of careful casting I felt that this drama could have been better. This is the MAIN reason for the lower score. The soundtrack was also not as good as most dramas I have seen. Not HORRIBLE, just lacking passion.

I would definitely consider it better than most, but SHOULD have been GREAT. Keeping my first sentence in mind ... hopefully you'll enjoy!

I would LOVE to be able to recommend this drama, and before I watched the whole thing, I would've. I rate dramas by their ability to entertain, keep my interest and above ALL "feel good" value. The storyline was really great... lots of twists and turns and highly watchable! The problem arose when it went from WONDERFUL to mediocre at best. It left me with a incomplete and unsatisfied feeling. What a disappointment

Read whole review before you decide...

I had a really hard time getting through the first episode... I actually started to watch it then stopped because the first episode was so confusing, dark and didn't really catch my interest, BUT... If you have to, SKIP the first episode! The rest of the drama is really worth watching!!! I feel like you could literally eliminate this episode and end up with a nearly perfect drama. If you're a little confused when you start with the second episode... just read the synopsis.

The kissing scenes alone!!! Wow!!! NOT your typical "stiff arm-lip press" you see in most K-dramas. I wanna congratulate whoever directed this (2nd episode on), for giving us non-Koreans something to swoon about! I just want to keep replaying the "foot-standing" kissing scene, (you'll know when you see it), over and over and over and over...

Hope you give it a chance...

I've found that it's better to expect less to gain more when you watch ANY drama/movie so I HATE to over rate a drama. You definitely want to push through the first few episodes to get the most out of this drama. I found Kong Hyo-Jin repulsive in the beginning... it was almost enough to make me stop watching. I'm glad I stuck it out.

I am truly grateful that the villains were mild and more like comedy relief than the normal psycho-sociopaths you find in dramas like Hundred Year Inheritance or Bread Love and Dreams.

I do wish the physical transformations were as wonderful as the character transformations. I found it a bit lacking compared to most.
